Though, honestly, it raises a point we hear about time and time again in various forms: Is George Lucas right to change the movies in a way that he sees fit. I'm not talking about if he has the power (which he obviously does), or if he legally may (certainly so). I mean is it right for any one person to make changes on things that have become part of pop-culture history. Effectively, it's like changing a line in a history text book. To properly understand the effect of the movies on their contemporary audiences, as well as to be able to experience the same thing as them, we need to keep an eye towards the preservation of such things, so I argue.
