David Prowse caught a bad rap in my opinion. The man has grace to say in the article of James Earl Jones voicing over his lines quote "I'm a great adorer of what he did - he enhanced the part greatly with his beautiful tonal voice." The man was never really given the respect he deserved while playing the part of Darth Vader in the movies. Using Sabastian Shaw as the face of Anakin in the end was like a real kick in the groin in my opinion (then of course, 20 years later, Sabastian got his big groin kick, too). He wasn't even invited to the big reunion photo shoot that was done with all the original actors the last time they were together. George Lucas just has no respect for this guy at all, and I don't think it's fair. I'm sure there are two sides to the coin, and Prowse may be a total douche, but whenever I am watching the original movies, I am seeing him play Darth Vader. I don't see his face or hear his voice, but the man worked hard and delivered fantastic performances regardless. I am a fan of his and hate the trouble he's seen with his involvement with Star Wars. It's like a big ink stain on a beautiful portrait. What a shame.
