However, I just wanted some advice regarding which version I should go for, given that there are literally dozens if not more. Was wondering if anyone else uses this program, and if so, if they can make recommendations. Just want it to save some videos and be able to have them stored on my computer. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Posts: 3883 Aug 3 10 8:21 AM	I use Final Video Downloader and it is the only video download program I have ever used. It saves the videos straight to my video folder with the push of a button on my browser window. It saves them as .fvl files. While I never heard of that file extenstion before I ever used Final Video Downloader, it seems to work fine with Windows Movie Maker, burn to disk or anything else I've used it for. You can find the most reputable source for download at CNET.com most likely.

Posts: 460 Aug 3 10 10:02 AM	I used to use http://download.cnet.com/...-10825336.html?tag=mncol but I don't download youtube video anymore so I uninstalled it. It works with Internet Explorer. Now I use Mozilla, so I guess that I would have to look for something else. Oh, and when I want a freeware I just make my query on download.com, select "free" and rank the list by User Popularity which is always the most relevant sign of quality according to me. Then I try, nothing's better than on-the-field-experience. Tell us your choice at the end ! It might be useful.
