Or maybe Darth Bane didn't fulfill that prophesy...after all Abeloth is free of all resistriction, is a perfect being...maybe she is the ultimate Sith, the Sith'ari.

Meanwhile, in a book, I'm waiting for Abeloth to say:

Say it Abeloth. SAY IT!

Honestly, I don't see Abeloth as having any sort of ties to Sit or Sith prophecy (well, apart from the whole Destroyers of Kesh deal). We've already got the Lost Sith, and the somewhat more cooler One Sith. Do we actually need a physical manifestation of an ancient Sith prophey as well?

Don't get me wrong, I'm riding on the coat-tails of the theory that Abeloth/perhaps the Celestials are the actual basis for all these religious/myth fables across the galaxy (Aing-Tii, Keshiri, etc etc) and I will back this theory like there's no tomorrow, but to have Abeloth be the Sith that is more Sith than Sith?

I hope not.

She's definetly not a Rakatan. The Rakatans were amphibian-derived humanoids. Their heads looked like a frog's or lizards vertically elongated, with their eyes on stalks protruding out the sides of their heads. Take a look at the Wookipedia article for them.

I believe that Mr. Drew Karpyshyn, the one who invented the term of Sith'ari, has himself stated that Bane is indeed the Sith'ari.

I'm pretty sure that term was around before Karpyshyn's works- probably the Jedi vs Sith comics. It was clearly presented to us in a way to indicate that it referred to Bane, but I still see it as a mirror to the Jedi Prophecy in that it refers to Vader equally well.

EDIT: Wookiee would have me believe I'm wrong about that first sentence, although there's room to believe that Pena might have invented it. My second is the important one, though.

I would hope not. Unfortunately, Abeloth felt familiar to Vestara Khai as well, not as a lover, but as a feeling she couldn't quite place. She seems familiar to lots of those we're seen interacting with her. However, 'Beyond the Shadows' seems to have several characters - Anakin Solo, Mara, and Jacen to name a few. Perhaps those presences are partly what Luke was experiencing, making the 'love' he felt Mara's.

More than likely Abeloth feels familiar to everyone because she is a representation of the Dark Side. The "whisper of a lover" Luke feels is probably the enticing pull of the Dark Side, and not some piece of Callista's soul that Abeloth has eaten.
