Posts: 346 07/01/09 10:04 PM	There have been some rumblings on TF.N message boards that Sue Rostoni of Lucasbooks has said that there might be a Post-FOTJ trilogy or a standalone novel after FOTJ instead of another series but it could change. I can't find the exact quote from Rostoni herself but I could provide a link to the thread: http://boards.theforce.net/literature/b10003/30198204/p1/?10 I hope this trilogy will be written by Matt Stover or James Luceno or Tim Zahn and will be the final adventures of the Big Three and Ben Skywalker becoming the new leader of the Jedi and the Jedi's future in the aftermath of FOTJ. And I'm sorry to keep talking about Post-FOTJ stuff when FOTJ is still goin on but I hope after FOTJ there isn't another arc and there will be just standalone hardcovers or trilogies either hardcover or paperback until the next contract starts in 2014 when the novels will lead into the Legacy comics and maybe set after Legacy and have the Jedi and Skywalker descendants go on expeditions to other galaxies with the help of the Maw perhaps.

No offense, but if there were "rumblings," I think she would have said something on the TOS VIP thread. Sue usually isn't the type to put unconfirmed rumors out there... She knows how giddy we get about that stuff.

I remember when that 'rumor' first showed up on TFn I searched through all of Sue's comments on TOS and never found reference to it at all. My guess is that someone misread something or misremembered something they thought they read and ran with it. I do know that Sue has said that it's too early to even talk about anything post-FotJ yet.

Posts: 347 07/01/09 11:26 PM	I hope that if there is a Post-FOTJ trilogy it will start Christmas 2011 like Millennium Falcon did for LOTF only it was pushed up to October. I still don't think it's too early to talk about Post-FOTJ yet. Rostoni said there are only vague plans for a Post-FOTJ trilogy. That's exciting news anyway. But I do hope we have conformation of a Post-FOTJ trilogy by Rostoni and DR this summer or summer 2010 at Comic Con. Maybe this trilogy will be either an epilogue to FOTJ or a bridge to the next Legacy era 9-book arc beginning in 2014? Last Edited By: ron bond 007 07/02/09 1:21 AM. Edited 1 time.
