In the cockpit of his StealthX heading for Hapes, Luke Skywalker felt a hand brush his hair, and as he reached out involuntarily to touch it, he knew his world had ended. ~ Luke Skywalker's reaction upon realizing his wife Mara had died

I'm sure you're already aware - and others will probably be able to chime in with more - but I know at least Aaron Allston and Christie Golden were
supposed to be going to SDCC.

I recieved this in my inbox from the starwars.com homing beacon this week:
I don't know what's up - but it might be something big. Maybe the new Animated Series?

There are a lot of rumors circulating around this. Everything from the new animated series, live-action updates, The Force Unleashed, Celebration V, Dark
Horse, The Old Republic, Del Rey. All kinds of stuff and I wouldn't be surprised if a little of everything is touched during this. Like I told Mizz, since
I can't be there I will be watching this on G4

Now this is very selfish of me but I kinda liked being one of only 6500 hearing the news for the first time. *sighs* seems you "poachers" listening
in get to hear it as well
Actually braodcasting is a good idea. While it is still nice to be one of the select few to spread the word, having CC in San diego does not make it accessible (and expensive) for most people so this involves them. Good PR for SW as well as comic con. |

Anybody sending in some questions for the panel?
Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. |

usually they have a Q&A session where fans go up and ask questions on the mike for the panel. This is where you get a range of the most ridiculous
questions asked to really good questions

According to the Lego Magazine my son just got in the mail (I swear it's for him, not me, I just read it for the articles), there will be a special Star
Wars Lego set available only at SDCC.

*is annoyed* They're going to telecast the presentation, and I'm still gonna miss out on it since the cable company doesn't carry G4.

If I can get it to work out somehow, since I don't have a laptop, I'm going to post the big announcements here. Either as they happen or right after
the broadcast

<---- that's me. Green with envy that I can't go. Someone
that does go needs to take a bazillion pictures and post a link to a full photobucket spread. Daily updates as well.

Oh MAN! That all looks so cool. I read the entire itinerary. There was something scheduled all day! I would be a juice box toting, power bar eating, squeeing,
fanboy for sure. Honestly I never considered heading out for that and it is only in the last couple of years that I even realized how big a deal it was.
I'm thinking it's something to save for so I can go next year.
