Posts: 2303 04/06/08 10:58 AM	Tags : None I'm one of the people not in favor of another show about this era, but I thought it would be more productive to come up with 10 things I want to see in it and force someone to read it. Many of these wouldn't fit in the cartoon series, but you know there will be books- 10 - Anakin's Togruta Padawan 9 - More story on Master Roan Shryne and his second Padawan 8 - Find out where Asajj Ventress went 7 - Backstory on Master Cin Drallig 6 - The Republic Commando guys (to pull Traviss more into general continuity) 5 - Stories of the young Boba Fett 4 - Stories of the young Han Solo 3 - More from Darth Sidious's point of view 2 - The mysterious Lus-ma form that only Grievous and Tyrannus seem to have heard of And finally - The biological histories of Mara Jade and Shira Brie. Posts: 1181 04/07/08 11:03 AM	I'm not sure it's worth even thinking about, because being overseen by George Lucas himself, I know there's very little of EU continuity he cares about (and most everything I'd want to see comes from EU references). However, bearing in mind I agree with most of what's already been posted, I'd add: An introduction to Callista and her Jedi boyfriend (and I'm not even a Callista fan, but she should be in this time period). Give us Paelleon! How about Kam Solusar's daddy? Wasn't he a Jedi hunted down by Vader? I'm not sure about Mara's history though, I want another Zahn book focusing on that.

I think a more pressing question (whose answer I'm not sure we've heard) is how did Obi Wan earn his place on the council? I can't entirely deny that my recent grumpiness is from a lack of getting laid.

Posts: 2861 04/07/08 9:15 PM	I don't know when he was promoted to master. I don't know that it's ever been stated when that happened exactly. It isn't in any of the novels, but I haven't read all the Clone War Comics so maybe it's in there. However, at the beginning of the ROTS novel, Stover makes a point of saying that Anakin is still calling Obi Wan master, but it's because he's been promoted to master level. I took that as being the first mention of Obi Wan's promotion.

And, since the topic title wasn't too specific, put Omega Squad into the Television series. That would be awesome. (Imagine's Fi cracking jokes) Quinlan Vos in the TV series as well (or a novel as a major character), just so we can hear his voice. Posts: 98 04/07/08 11:51 PM	Sigh..... the more I think about it, the more I shudder about how many of the toes of the novels and comics the series will step on. PLEASE George, for once consider the EU!!!! As for a list, I'm hoping to see Quinlan Vos in action, maybe a young Fett (tie it in with the live action series maybe?), and yes I would like to find out what happened to Asajj Ventress. Oh, and clones, but not necessarily Commandos. ARCs will do just fine, I think.

Definately Quinlan Vos Roan Shryne & how he lost both his padawans Definately young Han Solo Ditch Callista On second thought, have Obi Wan turn to Callista for comfort after Siri's death. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist, and (from a certain point of view) kind of incestuous in a jedi way.

I'd love to see more Palleon, young Han Solo, and especially more RC (double smilies if they cover more of their stories ). I'd basically read any SW book that came out...but I think this era still has plenty of expansion room. Possibly with the new movie this summer it will generate some interest and produce some more novels from this period.

Give us Paelleon! Paelleon was in RC: True Colors, fyi, although I do realize you're talking about the upcoming cartoon, he has at least been referenced and used back then. Callista would just be an odd addition, and not only can I not see GL knowing about her, she'd make an odd addition, although maybe in a group shot someone with her signature lightsaber could show up.

Posts: 43 04/22/08 3:36 PM	I know we're talking about the upcoming show, but I'd like to see some Jensaarai in the Clone Wars era EU (granted, these would be proto-Jensaarai). And you're right, anakinsoloII, the Assassin Clones were cool. I'd also love to see the Blaze Troopers make the jump from video game to EU mainstream.
