The animation style is different from that of the miniseries. I'm very very excited for this movie. I saw a trailer about a month ago and it looked great. I still hesitate to call this a "movie" given that it's just the first 3 episodes of the new animated show lumped together in movie format... I'll be very interested in seeing if they blend seamlessly or if the episode breaks are still present.

I didn't think it would look so cool or fresh given the fact that we have already seen a cartoon series of the same era, but I really liked it. Lets hope that the series is as good as it looks. Posts: 12004 04/27/08 9:24 PM I’m responsible for all this...	The movie isn't a movie so much as the first 3 episodes of the series bundled together. It's like a 2-part episode, shown in a movie theatre, like when the Friends finale was broadcast in theaters or I'm sure other shows have done the same. So you do a movie event, show a season, go on hiatus for a few months. Then when you come back, movie event with the first 3 episodes of Season 2. Repeat.
