"Gentlemen please," Corran said "we have important matters to settle, first we must boost our ship building efforts to finish our fourth fleet by the end of the next three months new information has come to light that BTCS is attacking the Triad and if we don't do anything about it we won't have a chance, so I have decided to disperse our fleets like so;"
Corran hit a button wich turned on a hologram of the galaxy showing where the Triad fleets were and the planets under their control and all the other governments "our first fleet will remain here to defend any ivasion attempts while our second and third fleets will come in from behind and to the side of the BTCS' fleets and hopefully surprise them. Our N-1 starfighters are fully equipped for the job as are our fleets."
"Admiral Gorlan are you ready for war?" Corran asked
"Willing and able sir." replied the Admiral
"Good, then get to the second fleet and I will control our third fleet, good luck gentlemen." and so Corrans government was finally revealing itself.

Aaron and Al slipped down the street of the downtown Grape Rapids ghetto. Both were very alert, Aaron especially. He knew all too well that only the strong survive in the ghetto. Being white made it all the more dangerous. He wasn't going to be caught off guard. But that didn't mean he wasn't gonna be caught.
Aaron felt a sharp knife prick his throat. A small drop of blood rolled down his neck. He held perfectly still, hoping Al would have the sense to do the same. Soon afterward, I gruff voice sounded behind him.
"What's a couple little white boys like yourselves doin' here? You's just askin' for trouble."
"It's been too long, Tony."
"How you know my name?"
"Check my arm."
Tony complied. He drew back in shock. "You got the mark! Who are you?"
Aaron turned around. Tony's jaw dropped. "Benmark! You're back! Let go of the other one, boys. These guys are friends." Tony's voice turned incrimidating. "You are friends, ain't you?"
Aaron nodded. "I'd never betray you guys. We need information. A data disk, really."
"You want what the Bloodhounds got."
Aaron grimaced. "I was hoping you wouldn't say that. We're gonna need to get it back. It has important information on it."
"You got it, Benmark. Anything for an oldtimer. I'm the only one left."
"Where're the others?"
"Jail, dead, you know how the ghetto works, Benmark. Only the strong survive, and they only survive so long."
Aaron sighed. "I've been out of it for awhile, Tony."
"You're a lucky man, Benmark. Colonel Korn was a saint to take you in. More of a saint to leave us all alone. How's he doing?"
"Dead. Killed in action."
"Damn. Oh well, he was getting old anyway. Blaze of glory, eh Benmark?"
Aaron smiled uneasily. "Right, Tony. Right."

Alison leaned nervously against a pillar that served as a decoration in the bridge area. "Any luck yet?"
The comm officer eyes his computer screen wearily. He pressed through several screens before raising an eyebrow. "Well, your parents were aboard one of the refugee ships... I have their name here. But the strange thing is that I can't seem to find the destination."
Alison sighed deeply. "Thank you. I suppose it's good to know they're safe..."
"My pleasure, madam," said the comm officer before returning to his duties.
With another sigh, Alison sank into the chair closest to her. From the chair next to her, EC3 put a consoling arm around her shoulder. "Don't worry. I'm sure they'll find your parents. In fact, I'm sure we can drop you off at the next Refugee Office..."
"No," said Alison firmly, silencing EC3. "They wont have any more news than your comm officer. I have nothing to do but stay and help you. And that is what I will do."
"Are you sure?" asked EC3. "I wouldn't want you to miss news-"
"It will be good for me. Another project to work on to keep me occupied. Besides, I don't want to leave you running around the galaxy."
***
An hour later, Admiral Pear, EC3, and Alison were sitting around a small tactical table. In the middle of the table, a hologram map of the galaxy, shifting with starship traffic patterns, was being projected.
"We've run into a dead end," said EC3 cautiously. "Almost every library world that is supposed to have information just happends to have been taken by the Intecids."
"I find it hard to believe Ed2d2 wouldn't leave clues in Remnant libraries or computers. I have some friends doing some searches for me there," said Admiral Pear with a reassuring smile. "Let's go over the poem again... maybe Alison will find something we missed."
With a quick snap, each date-a pad displayed the poem prominently.
"Through irony and dust of space,
Through ashes of corruption and death's long face,
You will encounter a great beast,
Then a gathering with a delicious feast.
Starting now and long after,
The entrance is closed..."
"We've already interpreted the last two lines," said EC3. "We just don't know what any of the others mean."
Alison studied the poem carefully, then smiled. Pulling her flowing brown hair into a ponytail, she said, "Isn't 'Irony and Dust of Space' the name of one of those classic novels?"
Admiral Pear raised an eyebrow. "I've never heard of it... If anyone were to know about classic novels, it would be someone from Juice."
"Yeah... It was written on my planet, I think. I believe I read it my freshman year of high school... I didn't like it. It was about some guy who explored the stars looking for meaning. He dies at the end, I think. The whole point was that life was about 'Irony' and some 'dust of space' orbiting Applaina."
"Applaina?!?" EC3 whispered in disbelief. "That's a Talon planet."
"That shouldn't stop us," said Pear. "I have connections in that system. Good thinking, Alison."
"I haven't even read the whole poem yet," joshed Alison as Pear ordered the jump to Applaina.

"Exiting hypersace sir." Corran's navigator said "Take us in to orbit above Applaina, we will need to refuel at one of there space ports. Contact the rest of our fleet and tell them what we are doing, and then contact the nearest space port and ask them if we can dock-"
"Sir! Unknown contacts coming in at four-six mark seven, it looks like two squadrons of defense fighters." the comm officer said.
"Thank you ensign, alert all pilots tell them to get to their ships and not to fire until fired at." Corran replied.
"Yes sir! All pilots get to your fighters!"
The Talon fighters fought hard, but they were inexperienced and no match for the highly force sensitive Naboo starfighter pilots and the N-1's in wich they flew, the battle was over within five minutes.
"Sir, all enemy fighters are gone they've either bugged out or have been destroyed...wait a small yacht is coming up from the surface... now a personal transport, they are evacuating sir! What are your orders?" the comm officer said
"Tell them to shut down their engines and prepare to be scanned. If you find anything of importance on any of them, tell them to standby to be boarded."
"Yes sir!...All evacuating ships, shut down your engines and prepare to be scanned...sir three of them are trying to get away!" the comm officer said with a bit of panic in his voice.
"Disable them before they get away!" Corran ordered.
***
Half an hour later two of the three ships had been captured while the third one got away.
"Sir we have finished our search of the ships, one of them was trying to smuggle weapons, it belonged to a merchant who was dealing with the BTCS. On the other ship we found a colonel of BTCS, on his ship we found treasure and valuables from the planet. With time we will get him to talk."
"Thank you...ensign Carvey is it?"
"Yes sir."
"You have been promoted to flight cadet. Report to the deck officer and he will tell you where you need to go. And return the treasure to the planet as a sign of peace."
"Yes sir!" the cadet said with pride.

Back at the bridge
"Scanners indicate new ships exiting from hyperspace sir!"
"More Talon ships?" Corran inquired
"No sir...wait...we are being hailed."
"On screen." On the screen appeared Ed2d2
"Ed, what are you doing here?!?" Corran asked quite mind boggled
"I was about to ask you the same thing." Ed replied
"I can't tell you yet, but please come aboard I need to ask you something."
"Well what is it?" Ed asked, Corran looked at him and told him he wanted to start an alliance with him, he awaited for the arrival of Ed so he could recieve an answer.

Admiral Pear stood confidently on the holograhm cracker pads of both EC3 and Corran as he explained the immediate situation. "Our problem here is that we really don't know was we're looking for here," he began slowly. "If we knew we were supposed to be looking for something, we could find it. If we knew we were supposed to talk to someone, we could do that too. Because it is under Talon control, we really have no other choice but to invade."
"What about the other poems?" asked Corran. "You haven't read those yet.& quot;
"They're nonsense," EC3 said. " I tried... nothing there..."
"Read the whole poem again. Maybe we can get an idea," responded Corran.
EC3 pulled up his datapad and began reading:
" Through irony and dust of space,
Through ashes of corruption and death's long face,
You will encounter a great beast,< br> Then a gathering with a delicious feast.
Starting now and long after,
The entrance is closed..."
"Could be a graveyard we're looking for," said Corran. "Ashes of corruption and death's long face... sounds like anti-Intecid propoganda from the Intergalactic War if you ask me."
Alison walked up behind EC3 and studied the poem from over his sholder. After a momment, she smiled. " Look," she said pointing at the third line. "Don't historians refer to the first ships used in the invasion 'the Beasts'?"
Pear lifted an eyebrow and smiled. " It's at times like this I feel stupid."
Corran grinned in reaction. "We must find these Intecid ships.. ."
"And there's only one place in this system we can find them," responded Pear. Turning to his comm officer, he commanded "set a course for the Applaina moon."< br>
***
"So the seekers are in system?" asked Talon with a corrupted smile. "They have fallen right into our little trap?"
"Yes, my lord," responded Talon's agent. "They have just set their direction to the moon's orbit where the wreckage from the Battle of Applaina is... Just as you asked."
Talon stroked his chin, which was beginning to grow a beard. "Excellent. Contact the General there and tell him to open fire on my command."
***
"What are you telling me?" asked Kettch as his heart caught up with him.
"You are the biological father of the clone Kaar's child."
"Delaware apple banana splits!... This could get messy for me... Does Talon know? Where is the child now?"
The intelligence office looked at the date-a pad in front of him. "Yes. Talon does know. The baby is now in Remnant territory in the custudy of one of the Senators serving as a foster parent..."
"Talon will use this against me, and if he finds out any more he will be able to destroy us. .. We only have choice. Where is Talon now?"
" The Applaina System, sir."
"Good. Gather our troops and fleet. Tell them to prepare for a hyperfruit superjump into the Applaina System. It's time we show Talon and his idiot followers that he is no longer the master of this galaxy."

Aaron and Tony proceded to the 'headquarters' of the Rotten Grapes. They made good time, only stopping to kill two rival gang members along the way. Later that evening, Aaron, Al, Tony, and the Big Cheese met to discuss reacquiring the disk.
"So, we all got's 'ta go in, kick some ass, and pick up dat disk you' s talkin' about. No problem. We'll have time to stop for a smoke break."
Aaron decided not to ask what they'd be smoking. "Pretty much. How well do they have the disk guarded? "
"Hah! You's been outta da gang too long, Benmark. They ain't gonna have no defenses 'round da disk. Couple o' punks, maybe a Nektar dog or two. Nothin' major."
"We hope."
Tony smirked. "We'll get the job done, Benmark. Have faith."
"When have I ever done that?"
---
Al frowned at Aaron. "Are you sure these guys are trustworthy?"
"They've saved my life more times than I'd like to admit." He frowned. "And they've killed more people for me than I'd like to remember."
"How'd you get mixed up with these guys, anyway?"
Aaron sighed and sat down on the bed of the room the gang gave him and Al. "Have I ever told you about my parents?"
"No. You've never brought it up, so I didn't push. "
"My mom died giving birth to me. My dad did his best raising me, but he was an officer in the army, so he had to leave me alone to survive by myself pretty frequently. Eventually, he went off and didn't come back. Disappeared. No one knows what happened to him. I was left on the streets, at the ripe old age of twelve. I had already developed a friendship with Tony; he went to school with me. The only one of these guys with a high school diploma. He brought me into the gang, and I was with them until I graduated. Colonel Korn was an old friend of my dad's, and when he found out about me through a chance meeting when I was nineteen, he was impressed by my street fighting prowess and my intelligence. He pulled me out of the gang. I kept up good relations with them, using Korn's influence to guard them from prosecution and make life a little easier for them. We worked together on a few cases. When the Intecids invaded here, I figured these guys for dead, until Ecky reported otherwise. "
He sighed. "I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I would have died if these guys hadn't taken me in. A lone white boy won't survive in the ghetto without some sort of protection. I owe these guys my life."
Al grimaced. "Sounds like something out of a movie. Or a bizarre forum thread started by a bunch of insane people obsessed with fruit. "
Aaron snorted. "Where did that come from? "
Al shrugged. "I don't know."
"Right. You got your gun?"
Al cocked it. "Right here."
"Good. Take this one and hide it in your pocket. Safety off, ready to fire."
"Isn't that a little dangerous?"
" A little. But if you're fast enough, it can save your ass. Here' s a switchblade. Put it in your other pocket."
Al smirked. "Anything else, oh master of weaponry?"
"Here's a lighter. These things come in useful more than you'd think."
"I thought you didn' t smoke."
"I don't. Lighters can be used for more than just cigarettes. I had a band teacher ask us for one to fix a clarinet once. No one admitted they had one, because officially, they're considered a weapon. (this happened in real life today, BTW). Still, I'm sure half the band did, and I'd bet Tony had two."
Al shook his head. "You scare me sometimes, Aaron."
"I scare me, too. "

Re: The Futility of Applaina
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Applaina was a veritable forest of vessels. The system was brimming with firepower. Acky's entire galactic armada, not currentlyin dry dock or guarding home systems was present and expecting a fight. They rendezvoused with EC-3's HoE Expeditionary Force and Admiral Pear's Produce Republic flotilla. EC3 had hoped to slip near the moon undetected, but that wasn't going to happen now. The sky was awash with state of the art weapons in a state of combat readiness should Acky give the word. The space below EC3's force was chock full of unsalvageable debris from the Battle of Applaina, long-over since the InGarm was fought to a standstill. The debris was a monument to the uselessness and futility that was war.
It also hid the trap below.
Talon smiled contemptuously as he watched the hologram of the fleets over Applaina's largest moon. Applaina's smaller brothers orbited in an expansive semi-circle around a red dwarf star in the heart of the elliptical system. They also formed a loose ring around the Garden armada. Talon nodded once and off in an unseen quarter of his spacious operations room, a nameless weapon specialist pressed a switch.
All at once, the moons came alive with activity as their gravity emitters powered up at 1000% capacity. The antiquated Chiss Graviton Battlemoons came on line, their gravity well projectors sucking at the ships around them. Acky' s fleets were hurled towards the oncoming moon-sized battle platforms with overwhelming force, some colliding with one another, but most impacting against the battle moons and their reinforced shields. The shields and gravity projectors had overloaded and shut down to allow them to cool down, but the damage had already been done to Acky's Garden. His fleet was now down to half of its original size and wreckage made any movement through the system extremely hazardous, if not suicidal.
Acky's remaining Triad forces were now pinned in a shooting gallery as criss-crosses of missiles and laser beams shot through space seeking out and destroying ship after ship. The Graviton Battlemoons were huge, easy to hit tagets, but there were six of them. Acky' s ships were too busy avoiding being targeted without time to concentrate fire on the battlemoons to breach them.
EC3 was not much better off. No sooner had he completed his preliminary scans of the surface of Applaina, than he was forced down into the maze of wreckage that was the Battle of Applaina, the first one, anyway. EC3 only hoped that Acky's sacrifice was worth what he hoped to find here.
Talon may have possessed Applaina as his territory, but it was doubtful that he knew how to unlock the untold value of Applaina's moon or the secrets it contained about the HoE...
Above the moon, the battle waged on. Two of the Battlemoons had been successfull y disabled and were exposed to the vacuum that was space, but the other four fought on. Fortunately, the gravity well projectors had not shut down completely and had drawn the wreckage in towards the battle platforms, clearing an escape route for the Triad fleets. They fled to hyperspace, back to Triad territories and set up a perimeter around the sector, in the event that the Graviton' s decided to come out and pick a fight.
No sooner was this done, than Acky called a meeting of the council. " We suffered staggering losses today and met with heavy resistance. " he concluded.
HoT stood up and prepared to speak. "In light of these events, I move for Acky's immediate removal from the council."
Acky rose to his feet in astonishment. "What?!?"
HoT ignored the outburst and continued to speak. "Acky has fallen in the public eye. First, he is caught decieving the people about his death, leading some to believe that he is a collaborator with the BTCS. Secondly, he aquisitioned our entire fleet for an unsanctioned operation at a non-member world to assist an unsanctioned group of representative s from the Produce Republic. In this failed assault, he not only violated the boundaries of the BTCS, a LEGITIMATE government, by the way, but he also lost HALF of the Triad's total assets. He committed an act of war and has committed political suicide. I move that he be tossed out of office completely, stripped of rank, and imprisoned for war crimes."
Acky stood, in pure unadulterated dumbfounded shock. HoT was one of his oldest friends and his strongest supporter, yet now, HoT was Acky's greatest detractor and critic. The vote was unanimous. Acky was summarily stripped of naval and political status and publicly cast out from the Triad as a rebellious traitor to the cause of freedom and peace.
Oblivious to these event, EC3 touched down on the Applaina moon, intent only on finding the HoE...
TO:
You can finish this one up, Ed. I hope I didn't screw things up too badly. And Acky, sorry about denoting you and limiting your all poweful status as commander of a billion ships, but hey, at least I didn't put your brain in a jar and blow up your body!!!

Acky shouted over the holo cameras and the people gathered. He knew it was a mistake to call a press conference after HoT's little escapade in the conference room, but he had no other choice.
"Quiet!" He tried, but it failed. HoT had his supporters all right, no doubt about that. But Acky hoped that the information he was about to release would help people to understand why such desperate mesaures were taken.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Council Men and Women," Acky began, not caring if any of the people could here him, he talked low purposly. If the people missed this information, so much the better. He signaled for a hologram of the galaxy to come up, "I understand that some of you do not see me fit to rule after certain..mesaures were taken.
"I understand this, but I did not do this in my interest. I was actually asked to."
An uproar went through the crown and many shouted, "ASKED BY TALON!"
"Please! I was not asked by Talon, but by a friend of mine, whom will remain nameless for security reasons and purely security reasons.
"You all have seen how the fleet was utterly defeated at Appalaina. How was I supposed to know it was a trap? But this does work for my plan."
The holo shifted to a picture of Ecky, and they Ecky spilt in half, and in half again until there were three Ecky's.
"I was forced to fake my death to fortify my planets for the huge battle coming. I was forced to be defeated for my plan. And if you noticed, the ships that were lost were crewed by a skeleton crew, voluntarily.
"Information was brought to my attention by my friend, shortly before I defeated Ecky. Ecky had working cloning cylindars. I faked my death so that I would be able to think over this information.
"I confided this only to Ganner Rhysode as a matter of trust.
"Shortly before the BoA (Battle of Appalaina) I received word that Ecky had used these cloning chambers. I purposly led us there, taking only a small portion of my fleet and using holo projectors and "empty" ships to fake the rest.
"I need Ecky to think I am weak. That the Triad is weak. That now would be a good time to come out with his secret.
"What is that secret? That Ecky cloned himself. Not once, but twice.
"I come before you, my colonies, as a matter of informing you after the problems that happened in the council chambers.
"New information has very recently that Ecky's clones, Ocky and Ucky, dislike Ecky, but since they are formed by Ecky, they hate me as well.
"If you will direct your attention to the outer quadrent of Triad territory."
The holo of the three Ecky's shifted and turned to a real-time holo view. Out of the dense blackness of space, came ship after ship after ship.
"This has been my secret base. The entire base is cloaked with an improved cloak. Ships have been sent to the fleet and stored here. It is time we made a frontal assualt. Not on BTSC."
The holo switched back to Ecky, Ocky, and Ucky.
"Ocky and Ucky have broken away from Ecky and have each formed their own organization. Now the galaxy is in for trouble.
We have Talon.
We have Ecky.
We have the Produce Remnant to deal with.
We have the Intecids.
Now we have Ocky.
Now we have Ucky."
Acky looked at the people, "You must understand, everything I have done is for you. My ways may seem different now, and maybe that's because of Qel's power, but all will be explained later."
Acky picked up his notes and walked out of the press room to allow people to reflect on the information Acky was forced to give up.

Although Acky had been revealed as an outstanding strategist in forcing Ecky's hand and that of his clones, he was still under pressure from the Triad for the ships and crew still lost in the Battle of Applaina. Granted, casualties were fewer than expected, but were still greater than the Triad could afford to loose. Following this line of reason, the council had stood by their decision for Acky's expulsion. HoT, while an outstanding strategist, had never been privy to Ganner Rhysode's council and thus, lacked the perspective Qel's power had granted Acky years earlier. HoT marshalled the armada as best he could and organized several counterstrikes, burrowing deep into Produce-BTCS contested territory, continueing hit and run sorties that hurt the BTCS, but purposely left their supply lines untouched. Hand of Thrawn was well aware that he would not be backed if he assaulted BTCS territory directly, since they were now considered a legitimate government body, but they council would back him on any move to regain contested Produce sectors and force the BTCS to commit their fleets to outside territories, which allowed groups like Boba Fett and Aaron's RAMs to hit the enemy with impunity without fear of being frowned upon by the Triad. However, even as the war with the BTCS turned in the Triad's favour, Ecky, Ocky, and Ucky nipped at his flanks, attacking civilian targets and wiping out the farthest flung colony worlds in the name of the Intecid Imperium of old. Although Admiral Kettch was busy contending with this revolting Intecid faction in the wake of Aaron's departure from Intecid government duties, he was having little success in stopping all of these activities, due to their hit-and-run stratagems. Meanwhile Corran had mad no further overtures of peace with the outside Mega-Verse and seemed instead to be concentrating souly on warfare materiel for a war yet to be fought...
Talon was being beaten back and he was growing desparate, but he was not yet defeated. The time had come at last to play his trump card. He had found the location of the HoE!!!

Aaron smiled. It was all going according to plan. Al walked up behind him. "So, it worked?"
Aaron nodded. "Talon swallowed it. He thinks he knows the true location of the HoE. He'll attack it, only to find out that it's Ecky's headquarters. That'll draw those two into a war, leaving EC3 free to search for the HoE unmolested. And Ecky thinks that the HoE is deep in Talon space, where we suspect Talon to reside. I never thought it would work."
After leaving Garqueesh with the data disk, they had combined it with the others grabbed by Ocky and Ucky. The three had conspired with EC3 to take down both Talon and Ecky. And soon, that would happen.

Acky sat in the command chair of the Garden, minus the all of the ships except for those that remain loyal to Acky (Very few) and those of the 17th and 18th Division of the HoED.
He tapped the last key for the message and beamed it toward Corran.
The message read, "Corran. As you well may know, I am not part of the Triad anymore. I am currently reconsidering your offer of Alliance. Please respond so we can set up a meeting place."
Acky sat back and glanced at the crew that knew he was telling the truth. "Jump to hyperspace."
"Location?"
"Just activate the file marked 345.29 in the main computer bank," Acky said, grinning.

Kettch returned the bow and began walking, "I feel this Alliance will work to everyone's advantage, Admiral Acky."
Acky smiled, "I agree. Have the others arrived?"
Kettch stepped into the conference room, holo new cameras along the back wall, "Yes."
Two men stood, the light showing their faces.
Kettch motioned as the men walked forward, "I believe you know Hand of Thrawn and Aaron already."
Acky scowled, "I have the unfortunate pleasure, yes."
Kettch held the pen and the document for Acky to sign. HoT had already signed, as had Aaron. "We must put that aside."
Acky swolled deeply. "If you insist." He signed the paper, confirming the Alliance between Acky, HoT, Aaron, and the Intecids-Kettch and the signing was broadcast galactic-wide.

After the signing that everyone in the galaxy saw, Kettch took Acky aside, "Good job out there."

Acky and Kettch wathced the holo feed.
The Calamarian anchor talked over footage of Kettch, Acky, Aaron, and HoT signing an Alliance, "And so the galaxy may be in peril. The big quesiton today is, has Acky gone back to his routes of darkness?"
The footage switched to that of Ed2D2 walking along the streets of Seedya, shaking hands, and making conversation, "This footage," the anchor continued, "Was taken today from Seedya. But wasn't Ed2D2 dead? Weren't the scientists sure he was gone? More at 6."
The holo feed shut off and Kettch laughed.
Acky grinned, "Everything is going according to plan."

"Ensign, contact Acky and tell him to meet me at Mon Caviar, and prepare my personal shuttle, I'm leaving immediately." Corran said as he stood on the bridge of the Tiberius. He knew it would be dangerous but it was an offer he couldn't refuse
"Sir, I have recieved word from Naboo, thwy say that our fourth fleet is on its way to its staging point in the asteroid belt, it should arrive there in 8 days." The communications officer said, everything was going well.
On his way to the hangar bay where his shuttle awaited him, he saw Flt. Officer Carvey hurry towards him "Sir, I heard you were leaving by yourself to meet Acky." Carvey said in a concerned voice "Yes thats right, we have buisness to discuss." Corran said "But sir, its quite dangerous, especially if you are going alone, I request permission to join you on your journey."
"Huhh alright," Corran said somewhat frusterated "prep your fighter and stand by for launch."
"Yes sir, thank you sir."
Fifteen minutes later a shuttle and an N-1 starfighter left the fleet and jumped into hyperspace, for a meeting with destiny.

"I'm a little confused," Kettch said, "I thought there were only two."
Acky grinned, "During my time..off, I discovered more than our first search included."
The holofeed clicked on again, "More breaking news! Acky has been seen in the Produce Senate building. Vong Master, the hated Jedi, has been seen enjoying a quick coffee with BOBA FETT in a tap cafe on Pumpka. What is with the galaxy?"
Kettch looked at Acky, "So. Are you planning to meet Corran?"
Acky stood and walked out, "We'll see. It depends on your deffinition of meet."
"Are you taking the fleet?"
Acky stepped out of the room, "Well, you'll have a few ships left to defend you if needed."
* * *
The former-Garden base exited hyperspace, easily over-powering Corran's shuttle.
"Corran!" Acky called, "I appologize, but you will have to meet with Adm. Kettch on this matter. I have other plans."
And before Corran would respond, Acky's fleet cloaked, and went to hyperspace to destination X.

Ecky folded his arms. "Why should I believe you?"
"Look, I got you that data disk, didn't I?"
"So did Ucky and Ocky, but that doesn't say much about them." Alarms blared in the background. Ecky turned around. Aaron glanced at the moniter that was showing him what Ecky was thinking. He had to work hard to restrain from smiling as he saw that ten thousand Talon warships had arrived. They outnumbered Ecky's fleet two to one. Also, Ecky had recieved word that 'the HoE' was in fact Talon's headquarters. Ecky's fleet and Talon's were about equal strength, but it looked like Talon would win out. So much for that.
Ecky turned back to Aaron. "You did this!"
"What gives you that idea?"
"Don't lie to me! Our alliance is over! You will not survive this, you insignificant-"
Aaron turned off the holograhm. "Well, so much for that. Al, radio Ocky and Ucky that our plan succeeded. Tell them that I expect that payment in cash." On the screen in front of him, Ecky's brain waves cut off.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time out:
I'm sorry if my search for the Hand of Ed2d2 is taking a long time, but that is one of the purposes of that storyline: action moves so quickly in the Produce Wars that we need some long term storylines to hold everything together and put it more into perspective.
Because the poem's events are almost over, the end of the search is near... But finding the Hand of Ed2d2 will be the beginning of another long storyline. I like long storylines
Time in:
The entire galaxy turned their holograhm projectors as another important press release was taking place. Thousands of reporters crowded around the top of the Produce Remnant's huge hall, chattering about the exciting events that were expected to happening. As the lights in the press boxes dimmed, the throng silenced itself.
President Turnip stepped out onto the main platform in the center of the room and was met by applause from Senators and reporters alike.
"Citizens of the galaxy," said Turnip in his booming voice, leaving a tinge of the element of aloofness he was famous for. "I sent this message to make one thing clear: we are officially withdrawing our government from the Triad.
"For about two years now, we have been apart of the Triad as the galaxy has been threatened by revolutions, Talon, and the Intecids. And the Triads battled the threats efficiently, protecting territory from attack and making this space safe to live in. They are now successfully attacking Talon's core, and a final confrontation is expected soon."
Turnip paused to let his beginning words sink in. With a deep breath, he began again. "But the Triad has failed in every single regard besides the military. They have unjustly taxed systems without granting them representation. They have declared the decisions of the Produce Remnant, a sovereign organization, illegal as they continue to make decisions themselves. They dismiss top officials by only consulting the six people that have made up their corrupt inner council.
"One may think these were good decisions at the time, but the Triad's decisions have had catostrophic effects. The outer rim of the Remnant, once brimming with talent and potential for an economic powerhouse, has fallen into deep depression because of Triad regulations. Food routes had been cut off, leaving our mid rim and portions of Chiss planets scrambling for food.
"And meanwhile, even when we petitioned for reformation of the Triad government, we were ignored. Alliances were made without our concent and our fleet has been used in opperations that this Parliament has opposed. And while this occurs, we constantly hear reports from Triad leaders complaining about having the confront the "scabling", "unorganized", "inefficient", and "self serving council".
"I find it ironic that while the Remnant has been called corrupt by the Triad, we have had no traces of scandal or corruption in our system. The Triad has helped us, and we have helped them, but enough is enough. It is time for us to leave the Triad.
"This morning, the Parliament passed a unanimous measure to withdraw. Admiral Parsley's fleet council has expressed full support of our decision.
"Though we withdraw from the Triad, we do not withdraw military support. Don't get me wrong: Talon must be defeated quickly. We will give the Triad the full support of our fleets and military. HOWEVER, the Produce Remnant military is NOT under the command of the Triad: they will cooperate with battle plans, but they will not accept full Triad control.
"Thank you and have a nice day."
***
Meanwhile, EC3 was watching the hologram of his father in awe. Over an other, he watched the image of his father shaking hands with those on a distant planet. Yet something was wrong...
Reaching out through the Full Side of the Force, EC3 attempted to reach his father... but found something different where his presence should have been...
***
An hour later, a dazed EC3, an attentive Alison, and Admiral Pear were looking over their next step in the search for the Hand of Ed2d2. They had already decided that they had misinterpreted the poem, but they had not idea what to do next.
"Through irony and dust of space,
Through ashes of corruption and death's long face,
You will encounter a great beast,
Then a gathering with a delicious feast.
Starting now and long after,
The entrance is closed..."
"What if," started Alison slowly, "the 'great beast' we encountered was that weapon Talon defeated us with?"
Pear studied the poem and raised an eyebrow. "Could be, but we have no idea where to find this 'delicious feast'. Also, finding the location of the Hands is not enough. That system cannot be reached through hyperspace. We have to learn where to get there as well."
Just as Pear uttered this, a fleet officer, rather young and obviously new to the fleet, sprinted into the room. "I think we may have solved that problem, sir," said the officer with a grin. "It seems as if a Chancilor Kohlsa has contacted our ship. He says that agents of his own may have found the location of the Hand of Ed2d2 and he requests that you join him for a feast on the Chiss capital of Wisconsin at once."
EC3 raised an eyebrow comically. "Why does this search sometimes seem too easy?"
"Who knows," said Admiral Pear with a smile. "It's almost as if some produce-obsessed writer at a certain online forum wants to introduce a new element to our search while bringing back Kohlsa into the storyline."
"Where did that come from?" asked Alison.
Admiral Pear frowned. "I don't know."
***
"Ah, Acky. It is a pleasure to see you," said Senator Glenn as a holograhm of Acky appeared on his desk. "I am sorry if I disturbed you."
"Not a problem, Senator. What is it?"
"It seems that we had some assistance in escaping the Second Battle of Applaina," continued Glenn.
"Oh?" asked Acky, becoming interested. "Who?"
"A military group called the 'Galaxy's Edge', dedicated to peace around the galaxy. During our flight, they jumped in system to fight Talon ships. If they had not been there, our fleet would be about as half as big as it is now."
Acky furrowed his brows. "That name sounds familiar. Can you get their leader of holograhm?"
"Sure," said Glenn with a friendly smile. As the holograhm of the leader of the Galaxy's Edge flickered on, Glenn said "Acky, meet Verra."
Acky has not expected this at all. His eyes widened with excitement, his face paled with shock, and his mouth collapsed into a smile. "Verra!" he shouted in excitement.
Verra's smile was about as big as Acky's. "Acky. It is been too long."
"I'm so sorry, Verra... I am so sorry. I wanted to contact you, but for the last month, I've been without reliable communication to Pumpkin way..."
"No need to apologize," said Verra with a wink. "I understand. As long as I get to see you in person soon."
"I take it you two know eachother?" said Glenn with a chuckle.
Acky grinned even more. "Of course. Verra is my wife."
Lifting an eyebrow, Glenn said "You never told anyone you were married!"
"That's because the press would always bother my family... We've been married for about ten years. And we have an adopted son named Acky Jr." explained Acky.
Verra looked at Acky lovingly. "And our son just turned seventeen."
"Fourteen already?!? My goodness, it's almost as if he was only seven yesturday. Our boy is really growing up quickly..."

***

"Why can't they realize it?"
HoT looked confused, "What do you mean?"
Acky handed him a datacard, "The stupid Senate has elected to turn one of the giant mountains on Cornuscant into 'Mt. Veggimore'. They plan to have the faces of the three original Triad members in stone for all of the planet to see. You, me, and the late-EDD."
HoT stiffled back a laugh.
"Why can't they realize, that the Triad will aid help to those fighting Talon and the Intecids, but we WILL remain neutral?"

"What about the other poems?" asked Corran. "You haven't read those yet.& quot;

Don't post about Acky meeting Corran, OR where Acky is going.

Acky stepped off the shuttle and bowed to Admiral Kettch, "Good-den."
* * *
After the signing that everyone in the galaxy saw, Kettch took Acky aside, "Good job out there."
Acky smiled and nodded, "I pulled it off, didn't I?"
"Extremely well," Kettch replied, "Exactaly like normal."

Kettch nodded.
The door in the back of the room slid open and Ed2D2 walked in!
Acky stood, "Good job out there. I never thought an entire galaxy could be fooled so easily."

Awwwwwwwwwww... okay, Acky! Sure! Whatever! Ignore my posts about expelling you from mass galaxy controlling power and the fact that I wanna try and take the story in a different direction. Sure, I just hope its a good story, 'cause it seems like the plot is now moving backwards. No more clones!!! I too, will have to wait for more info. I don't wanna tread on YOUR story anymore than I have to.
Don't worry I'm not mad. I may seem mad, but I'm NOT mad (I can't be mad. I just got back from a cast party at Cafe Norte where I salsad for an hour, ate a huge yummy meal, and made out with my girlfriend for like two hours)

As I said, all will be explained later.
Hand-The Garden base is Acky's, along with the 17th and 18th Fleet of the Hand. He took those with him.
Ocky and Ucky are the ONLY clones in the entire story. Trust me. *VEG*
You could always try to publicly claim that it wasn't you signing. They had a fake, or something like that.
Kettch is in on this, too.
Oh-and you guys HAVE to let Acky defeat Talon once and for all, only AFTER EDD takes care of Verra (Who? Just wait) and finds the HoED. We're gonna get on together and post. We've got a big ol' dramatic ending all cooked up, just gotta let it unfold. You'll love this. Trust me.
TI:
* * *

Kettch-DO NOT REVEAL WHO THE "SIX" ARE.
Aaron-Just have your person come out and deny the Alliance that it wasn't really you or something like that. It may not work, but...

T.O. The six? If you're trying to be suspenseful, it's working. BTW, I have nothing against allying with you, assuming you aren't an enemy of EC3.
T.I.
"Look, Ecky, that wasn't me," protested Aaron. "It was some clone or double or something."
T.O. Sorry if you wanted him alive, Acky. You can figure out someway to bring him back if you do.
