I just started "Children of the Jedi" today. I'm hoping I can have it done before Imperial Commando gets delivered.
I would shoplift for a klondike bar

I love Traitor, I've read it 118 times, never gets old.

I got Paul McAuley's "The Quiet War" which has gotten much praise. I really hope that the backpage's description of (sarcastic exaggeration
coming now) "Good Space Pioneers Who Want Science to Remake Humanity" versus "Bad Environmentalists Who Enslave Humanity in an Evil Plan to Save
Earth's Nature" isn't truthful description of the novel itself... If not, I hope that McAuley ends up stranded in some Pacific island whose
highest point is less than a meter above the sea level. It's harder to be casually cool about emerging mass extinctions and planetwide catastrophes when
you are yourself on the receiving end, not just watching it from the television or from computer screen.

A bunch of books, including The Ecclesiastical History of the English People by Bede, The History of the English People 1000-1154 by Henry of Huntingdon, a
relatively new translation of Herodotus' Histories and Your Inner Fish. A journey into the 3.5 billion-year history of the human body(2009) by Neil Shubin.
It has been a long time since I could concentrate on reading just one book at a time.

Reading the ever classic 2001: A Space Odyssey
Jaina realized with a cold shudder that Jacen had not failed. He had sacrificed everything-his name, his family, his reputation, his life- to unite the
galaxy. And now here Jaina was, watching the birth of a galaxywide league of worlds dedicated to working together in peace. Had Jacen won after all?

much squeeing,
VOLUME 1 OF FARSCAPE THE COMICS: THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF THE BEGINNING. Holy crap, just typing that made me fangasm all in my pants there. |

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. Really liked book #4 and how the series makes a noticeable progression through the books. Mad-Eye Moddy was cool.
He'd make an awesome Inquisitor or Sith hunter.
"I used to smoke after Spongbob all the time. I found whenever Spongebob ended I would smoke a butt and then take a nap...then I started jogging and man was I able to watch Spongebob for hours at a time.... I mean I could kill a whole weekend watching Spongebob.... I'd watch in the bathtub....on the kitchen table.... hell once the wife and I started watching Spongebob in the garage ...... good times man... I love Spongebob...." -Rev |
