End stern voice When you guys say a flashback for both the polar bear and the button, do you literally mean we have to follow the goddamn polar bear around for an entire episode??? And that the button, which is an inanimate object, gets its own flashback???? I wish for many delicious Henry flashbacks. And a flashback for the monster!!

Re: Polar Bear flashbacks - Oh I don't know... I think you could easily strcuture an episode around the polar bear by showing the various people he's interated with - the different attacks and such. I wonder which castaway he interacted with in his pre-island life?

He could always have interaction with the Others and have this episode set up exactly what is going on on that damn island!! And trust the producers of Lost to reveal some of the biggest secrets in the history of the show through the eyes of a fricken polar bear!! But before they do any other flashbacks, we need a Vincent (the dog) flashback!! Hell yes!! All those times he runs off for an episode or two, think of all the places on the island he could be going!! And if he were to encounter, say, the Others, they'd probably just go about their business. After all, he's just a dog!!

Posts: 11289 07/27/06 8:07 PM	Well, since Vincent is just a dog, and given that a lot of people talk to animals, even if it is only because they are another living thing, maybe one or more of the characters (for example, Kate, Sun or Charlie) could talk to Vincent and in the process reveal something about themselves, the other characters, etc etc

And apparently the Season 3 premiere (A Tales of 2 Cities) is a Kate flashback episode... I'm just drooling at the supposed Henry Gale flashbacks!!

Posts: 14215 07/30/06 4:31 PM	The story last year was that they were going along and suddenly found out that a Michael flashback worked better in that opening spot so they just shelved the Sawyer flashback until later... later is just taking a while. It'd always been my understanding that they'd be showing it the next time they needed a Sawyer flashback - I don't think we did ever get one in Season 2, did we? Posts: 1282 07/31/06 6:03 AM	What happened with the original Sawyer ep was that the ABC execs wanted to capitalize on the character's popularity by giving him a flashback early in the season. The writers/crew of Lost didn't want this and eventually won out. I also hope that Season 3 answers a little question that has been bugging me since Sun's Season 2 flashback. Just why the hell was there a pregnancy test on the plane?
