I've turned on the "Free Gold" program again (which has apparently been brought back) - or at least I've tried. Basically, in exchange for displaying small ads on the board, we get Gold services for free.
This time around, it looks like the ads are built into the threads and not at the top/bottom of the page.
The problem is that I already have ezSupporter, so I don't see the ads. To be quite honest, I need then, the feedback of you non-ezSupporters to tell me how these ads are. Good? Bad? Are they annoying? They should just be text - I've always liked not having ads around here, but if it's free ... it's free.
But if they're obtrusive, I'll get rid of them and renew our subscription. Please let me know.
