Hi guys, I just found out that there was a thread for this. I'm sure I was told in the past, but it must have slipped my mind. I am the ultra mysterious co-writer for this series. So far I've only finished one script, which hasn't been released yet, but the next one is half finished and hopefully, we'll get the ball rolling again, and you'll get to see the pilot and 1.03 soon. I think Dex mentioned before its rather eye opening. And to be honest it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to its release. I've just cut ties with a forum I did a lot of things with and for, so I just had a large space of free time open up on a daily basis, so I expect to become not so mysterious anymore. Hopefully I can also use some of that time for more work on the next episode. Its proven to be more difficult than the last one for a few reasons, but its worth the wait.

Wow, you know in all the years I've used 'hogwartsdropout' as a screen name I don't think anyone has ever called me that! haha. Never occured
to me. My name is Joey actually (yes, Joey is a girls name too.) I'm glad to hear we have a fan! Thats incredibly encouraging. I read this thread last
night, and even checked out your spoilers thread, and it really helped me get motivated to work some more on the script. You know I don't know if I worked
with the Crossed Galaxies that Dex released or not. I know he did two different audio dramas, the one that came first, that was still under quite a bit of
construction was the one I worked on, just doing voices. And then there was another one recorded at a later date that I had nothing to do with. I'm not
sure if it was the same script, or a different one, or what was going on with it. It was fun to do the two voices that I did do however. I didn't get to do
any of the super cool "spine tingling" voices, but maybe someday if he decides to work on another one, I will. What am I saying, he'd be crazy to
do another one.
ETA: I went in and looked, and I was in "And Yet There Was Light."

Aha, I was wondering if I'd ever get to meet you. I'm glad 1.03 made you laugh. I tend to joke around alot and it shows a lot in my writing. Hopefully
the next script will be a lot less funny though, as what is happening is quite serious.

in all the years I've used 'hogwartsdropout' as a screen name I don't think anyone has ever called me thatOMG I'm kind of embarrassed. I got so used to shortening people's screen names into the first syllsble it didn't even occur to me. I meant no disrespect. It was bungilingly unitentional. 
Yes, bungilingly is a word. I just invented it and where I invented it I also know it is spelled correctly. I'll check back in these threads Monday when finally, after many, many days of dead out, nonstop work, I will finally be setting the cell phone to go straight to voicemail and taking a much needed day off. I intend to curl up on sofa with the lap top and read till my eyes bleed. It seems as soon as I get into a good story the phone rings or some damn thing and I never get back to it. |

Ok, I falsely stated 2 days ago that 1.05 (alias 1.04) would be done in 3 days. I lied.
 We started to potty train lg, and... well lets just say its not
going all that great. And as a result, I haven't had time to work on it. I would say though, that when I do get time to work on it, it should only take me
3 more sessions.

^Aw play nice. I do. I have a 20 month old son. He's completely nuts about this whole potty training thing though. No idea why I want him to sit naked on
his play chair (not a play chair.. its the potty chair). So Its not going so great. But if it makes up for it, he loves star trek, and adores star wars. He
watches it with us whenever he can!

Too bad you can't beam a diaper off and beam on a new one. You know what would be even better Star Trek technology for a young parent? Stasis chamber. For
those nights when baby just won't go to sleep. I always wished I could have this conversation...."Computer, create a hologram of me. Identical in
every way except it doesn't mind a screaming baby. Transporter room, you may transport my kid to holodeck three now". Alas my child is now sixteen and
the only Star Trek tech I want now is a cloaking device. "What's that company is coming and her room is a mess? No problem, computer; cloak
bedroom."
Everybody go read The Crossing. It's the hottest fan fic on the site and the only way we get more is if it sells so get out there and read it.

Another update to say I suck. I did get something done a couple days ago, and then genuis here forgot to save before she shut down the computer. So I get to
retype that, but I have a hard copy too, so it won't be too painful. Classes end tomorrow until the 6th so I will have extra time to give this the
attention it so deserves.

It's been a while since anything was touched here... due to my being busy student teaching... but some good progress has been made. 5 of the first six
episodes are complete; right now I've paused to do nothing the last few days other than start to develop our continuity database. This'll be done in
the next couple of days and then Hogwartsdropout will have finished the episode she's working on and we (including hopefully a new writer who's in
consideration to come on board) can sit and breakdown the next 4 which serve to re-introduce us to the Yuuzhan Vong.

Acky persuaded me to read this tonight in the LC and so far I'm about half way through the first episode and I'm loving it!!
One quick suggestion Acky, quit teaching and pursue a career as a screenwriter, now, Hollywood needs you. You could be NBC's next big thing.
