I'm roughly estimating you being about a week away from the release of Part 1 of the Voyager finale. Merry Christmas to you, if that's the case.

And so, as appropriate, here's a tease from part 2:


I'm not asking you to forgive me for what I've done. I understand that it was a breach of protocol and a violation of the command structure. I'm asking you to consider how many of Starfleet's most decorated officers haven't done the same thing.

0.01 - Running From Time - Voyager Finale, Part 1
Were always going to leave a part of us here in the Delta Quadrant... I think what matters is what part of the Delta Quadrant we take with us.
Voyager sets down on an alien world for repairs, but multiple mysteries soon occupy the crew's attention: a missing datastream from Starfleet and a near-by stellar explosion. As B'Elanna Torres heads into labor, an investigation into the explosion is undertaken, but an all-too familiar enemy is lurking near-by...

Probably another week or two on the 2nd half of the Voyager finale - I'd like to find a little more formal release schedule. The 2nd half will explain how Voyager arrives at the alternate earth and also the immediate means by which Ry arrived on Voyager - although you should already know by now that Ry holds lots of questions and offers few answers.

After the 2nd half of the finale will come the TV Movie which I have begun work on and is... well... all I'll say right now is that it's much more epic than I'd originally planned and I'm daunted at the number of characters that I'm hoping to service. Also expect at least one big twist about one of the three earth kids that you didn't know from reading the unofficial release of the premieres that'll add a lot of depth that character.

I'm *hoping* that this becomes a very fast write - I'll take some time off practicing after my senior recital in February when I'll have lots more time to write - and I hope to release it in very early march and then swing into the actual series.

1.01 and 1.02, although temp released right now, will be updated and re-released. 1.04 has been done a while and it remains the favorite of all the scripts I've written and is locked in - I don't think anything from the TV Movie will affect this for updates. And I can say that I've now seen the 2nd draft of 1.03 which is a very funny and EYE OPENING on some friends of ours known as the Borg. It's coming in a couple pages short, but I think tomorrow I'll get a final draft and then she'll start writing 1.05. Once we get through the TV Movie we should end up with regular releases.

I'd actually been looking at naming a new character in the TV movie 'Jim' but decided to stay away from that name since it's so Trek-famous with Kirk.

And it's not a twist about plot (and it's in the TV Movie so it's before they know they have the Force) - I think "twist" was a poor word choice on my part... just merely that you learn a different dimmension of their character.

But... of course, we'll see what survives to the final cut.

I had actually planned to release 0.02 this past weekend, but I didn't get around to it Probably this coming weekend. The problem stems from the fact that I'm not progressing quite as fast on the TV Movie as I want/had hoped, so it'll be a delay at least until early March before you'd get anything else... I was hoping to stretch them out to keep you from having to go so long without. I had your best interests at heart!

Not to continue to tease... and I won't be giving you a *lot* from the TV movie... but I think the wait is going to be well worth it... I want to cry some nights just thinking about the journey that one of the characters goes through... hopefully it all works out and pays off in the end.
