hmmm.... I've been reading star by star because it just came out on paperback. They talk about the jedi's secret base (I also can't think of the name) and I was wondering if it ever mentioned the location?

they have one base at the Maw. not really so secret, but not everyone in the galaxy knows of it or can get to it. They have another base called Eclipse that we never hear the location of, and I dont recall, but I think after SbS they dont use it anymore.

Eclipse is located on the edge of the Deep Core. It was still being used by the time of EL. It could only be reached by following a tight hyperlane.

Shelter is withtin the Maw. Of course the Maw IS well-known, but even if anyone suspected a Jedi base were there, then they most likely would be ripped apart on the way in by the black holes. Not many people know how to get to the center, after all.
