Apartment flooded today, so between that and my two jobs and various stuff that I've been putting off like laundry, groceries and bathroom cleaning... my
presence here will be pretty diminished for the remainder of at least the work week.

For personal reasons, I won't be visiting the public areas of this site for a couple of weeks. I might not be able to resist the urge to poke around in
Alderaan or do some moderating, but I don't see myself doing much of that either.

I'm just checking in briefly ... not that I can claim I don't do that on a regular basis now. Darth Work has had me on a short leash this past year. But I get to run screaming from the building tomorrow morning. I'm taking my crew out west. We'll spend some time on the Pacific Ocean, some time hiking in the West Coast rain forests. It'll be their first time on a really challenging day-hike. Rugged coastline and all that. Should be great. Take care, everyone. See you in 2 weeks! So wow, I don't think I've posted in two years, or thereabouts. I reached a point where I stopped posting everywhere just about, no malicious reasons

The thing is I never would have been gone this long, but when I moved I switched IP's and switched from IE to Firefox and didn't carry over any of my bookmarks, NJOE was one of the sites lost in the shuffle. If not for that I would have been back much sooner. This time I don't have any plans of disappearing for a two year chunk.

I dropped off the face of the Earth for like a week unexpectedly. You know how in every movie the main character is just minding his own business and then
extraordinary events around him force him into some grand story? My life this past week. So I guess this is a reverse hiatus. I'm actually back now.

I'll be going camping for the rest of the week...since I don't do much around here except bother the older people here...I bet I could slip by and
nobody would notice :P
