this was a concept I was working on before my computer crashed back in April. The idea was that this would be the first in a series of "covers" for a
"final adventure" trilogy. Each cover would have depicted one of the big three, posed front and center, with ghostly images of dead characters (not
necessarily force ghosts) set to either side of them.
As you can see, I paired Luke with Yoda and Mara. Haven't decided whether I should attempt the other two covers. |

I think those are the most fucking cool things you've ever posted here, max. Seriously. I'm slack-jawed. The Force-ghosts are such a cool concept, and
I really like the way you depict the Big 3's age. We don't see many pictures of them looking old, and so I for one don't have a good mental image
of what Luke would look like as a 60 year old.

Inferno, I believe, is the canon depiction of his current age, as it matches the latest Essential Guide (Atlas) image of him.

I was going more for them in their 80's or 90's. y'know, an age that accounts for the longer lifespan of the characters, but still allows them to
be old enough for it to be their final adventure.

Yeah, I like that Max. It shows Luke at the point where we don't know how old he is with the Force, yet he's certainly older than he is now.

Now I play the guessing game of wondering who'll be paired with Leia. I also play the guessing game of when a certain forumer will run in and ask for a special version of the covers that includes Matthew Stover's name attached to the bottom. |
