Which probably just means that he will be a new target for Daala...

Well, they foreshadowed it in Tempest...
This is how twenty-five millenia come to a close. Corruption and treachery have crushed a thousand years of peace. This is not just the end of a
republic; night is falling on civilisation itself.

The elder Solos, and I believe ... meh, I'm half asleep, whoever the Jedi from Millenium Falcon was. And Cilghal of course.

Considering Raynar's actions in DN - leading an attack against GA - that's pretty stupid move from the Jedi at this point. Raynar returning to service
as a Jedi is the next best thing Daala could get for her anti-Jedi campaign beyond Jacen himself returning in flesh and becoming a Jedi again.

now we just need to declare Brakiss a Rogue Jedi of Lukes academy instead of an Imperial infiltrator

i could see rayner as some one who could get infected with the force phycosis or just locked up by daala anyway thoiugh against that idea is the fact that his
mother is one of the most important trading/owners in the galaxy and could cause probellms like she almost did in DN

I agree with peter. With Star Wars things always have to get worse before they get better; way worse. Raynar going crazy AGAIN on friggin active duty may just
be the straw that breaks the camel's back.
Someone please remind me; was he sent to the Maw with the other kids in NJO? |

No, he was allegedly killed before that happened.

I think it's a more likely that he will join Tahiri and Kyp as high profile targets for Daala. He's basically the very image of a Jedi gone bad who
gets away with it.

Ooh - really good observation Rogue, I hadn't even thought of that angle. I wonder if all these persecuted Jedi (the ones targeted by the Alliance) will
wind up the founders of the Imperial Knights.
You are greater than the Jedi of former days.
Because unlike the Knights of old, Jedi Luke Skywalker... You are not afraid of the dark. |

Chewy was a main charactar but not as popular as Luke and not one of the "Big three." If they are going to kill Luke It would have to be a lot later
in the series.

Good point, Kyp probably makes no sense. Too much bad blood there, and he's really a part of the 'first generation' of Jedi knights under Luke. It
seems like it's the YJK generation where we get a little more rebellious. Raynar is a tougher call - on the one hand, he led the Joiners against the Chiss
(something Jag will probably still take issue with) - on the other hand, Tahiri killed Paelleon, so if she's forgiven, who's to say Raynar might not be
forgiven as well. Guess we'll find out.

I'm pumped for Raynar to be back, it's been so long and I am excited they didn't forget about him like they did for Daala or Callista so long ago.
And I definitely think he is going to be used against the Jedi, but I am very excited about that. I want him to completely pwn Daala.

I think raynar will join Darkmeld along with a few more jedi mostly YJK. Darkmeld will form the basis for the IK.Though not all of them will survive or become
IK (ex. Ciagal.)

Hmmm...Abyss. You can't get much darker than that. If Luke doesn't die, then what 'dark event' do you think will happen that will warrant the
name? I actually think this could be a major factor it pumping this series into full gear. Course it would be a dark path. But the Tribe really seems adamant
about taking out Skywalker. I can't see them going after him, failing, and yet continuing their conquest of the galaxy. I could see them throwing
everything they've got at him and getting wiped out, but then the series would end. But if you kill Luke, then the Sith seem that more dangerous, and then
you have six more books detailing the rise of Ben Skywalker, fulling prepping him to fill out the role as the next Grand Master of the Jedi.

Of course, they could kill the other Skywalker- the cover girl, and make them look dangerous too...
