Ron, are you getting PMs? At the very top of the screen, it will say "Account | Images | Logout." And next to that, a tiny picture of an envelope
with a number in parentheses. That shows how many PMs you've received, though they don't pop up. You kind of really have to look for them. Could you
check your PMs, to make sure that you can access them? Thanks!

ron bond 007 wrote:You're always pretty passionate ron, but you're passionate on a stuck record, saying essentially the same thing every time you're in here. It gets old and boring; people can only muster up so much interest to keep the discussion going for so long until they run out of things to talk about when you're stuck on the same ideas... especially when you're looking so far down the road that it's ridiculous to hypothesize. It's like me coming in and demanding that the plot of Star Trek 3 needs to be this-this-this, without knowing or apparently caring what happens in Star Trek 2, so long as I get my way for the 3rd or 4th film.

There have been a few encouters with black holes and extragalactic space and other dimensions in the SW EU. In Marvel SW issue #38 Luke and Leia accidently
go outside the GFFA and encouter an organic starship named Ship. In issue #46 Lando and Chewie enter another dimension and encouter a civilization and a huge
creature while looking for Han Solo and issue #54 Luke flies the Falcon around a black hole while evading a Star Destroyer. And of course Han made the Kessel
Run in the novel Rebel Dawn while skimming the black hole cluster of the Maw and of course there was a space battle in the first and last of the Jedi Academy
books where Admiral Daala's fleet and Moruth Doole's fleet engages the Falcon and the Sun Crusher in the Maw. In the last FOTJ novel I hope to see an
Endor like space battle in the Maw and perhaps have now Chief of State Daala return to the Maw with her fleet and engage the New Sith Tribe along with hundreds
of warships & starfighters,Han and Leia in the Falcon and Luke and Ben in the Jade Shadow. Perhaps either the Falcon or Jade Shadow or Daala's ship
falls into a black hole and emerges into another galaxy or somewhere in the Unknown Regions and encouter a new ally/antagonist setting the stage for the first
Post-FOTJ novel and our heroes have to go into one of the Black Holes to find either Daala or their comrades Luke/Han/Leia/Ben?

I think that went RIGHT over Ron's head.
Jaina realized with a cold shudder that Jacen had not failed. He had sacrificed everything-his name, his family, his reputation, his life- to unite the
galaxy. And now here Jaina was, watching the birth of a galaxywide league of worlds dedicated to working together in peace. Had Jacen won after all?

Ron, have you actually thought about reading the books to see what happens?
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most
frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don't feel insecure around
you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give
other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Mariane Williamson

Or better yet, are you actually reading anything anybody else here says.

Yes! I just thought I'd post my ideas about what the Maw might actually be. And again I'm sorry If I keep repeating myself but I just want FOTJ to be
interesting and so far it isn't exciting due to the lack of space conflicts but I hope to see some in Abyss.

Instead of repeating your ideas, you should reply to the comments by other members; this will further discussion and you can still talk about your theories,
and at the same time people won't get frustrated.

So the only measure by which you judge a book/series to be exciting is by its space battles, or lack thereof? Okay then... |

I'm not sure how much further this topic can continue when the forumer who created the thread seems to lack the good graces to engage with those that have
taken the time to post on this subject..it's moved beyond frustrating for me, just rudeness plain and simple

Ron, what you should do is create a star wars blog, but this is a discussion board and it seems the discussion has run its course.

There's nothing else productive that's going to come from this thread, with a combination of Ron's stubbornness and everyone else's attitudes.
Locked.
