It's just when we are talking about it in this thread everyone seems really excited and talks about how much they would love to know more about the subject of the interview but then when it comes time to submit questions I keep getting emails asking me to hold off on closing questions for another week. it suddenly becomes a homework assignment you don't really have to do and it keeps getting put off. What I did there was direct the comment at you when you in fact have never done that though. My bad. Still need to know who it's going to be. go back and count the raised hands maybe? Do this like the Oscars and just make a decision based on some arbitrary set of rules no one understands and basically comes down to Because someone had to"? Hmm. .

I am on vacation but tomorrow is a travel day. I would want Nom or Acky to approve of this plot as it is not my decision to make. .

Posts: 2640 06/09/09 4:52 PM	Nobody really said to go ahead and do it and the whole idea was to have a witness so where nobody jumped up and went "OK Rev, I'll be on at 8 tonight to witness the drawing." I kind of thought we all got our collective ADD on again and moved on to the next thing. In fact I am certain that is exactly what happened but now, having done that next thing, we have all wandered back in here going, "Oh yeah, I remember this place. I used to come here all the time way back two weeks ago." I'm always happy to conduct the interviews. To make the posts and field the emails and edit it all into one big cohesive interview. It's fun. I love being the interview guy. I don't pick the subjects however. So someone has to do the minimum amount of thinking required to figure out who it should be in a manner everyone agrees with. I thought I had accomplished that but had no takers for my idea. The hat, incidentally, would be the helmet from my full Darth Vader face mask with helmet and full voice changing capability. It makes us all James Earl Jones for a minute. Then you have to replace the 47 size D batteries. What were we talking about? .

Posts: 4159 06/09/09 8:37 PM	I don't think that this has to be as complicated as we're making it. We have three options here: 1. Let rev pick the candidate since he's the "interview guy." 2. As max suggested, let a former interviewee (Acky, Nom, JaIna) pick. 3. Make a poll like last time. My vote is for option 3, but if we'd rather expedite things, then I'm for option 1 since I don't have a problem with rev picking a user unilaterally. U all said I could choose. And since JaIna rarely visits anymore (NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOO) except maybe for Omen spoilers I'm not sure, and since Acky is late to this party, I choose by the powers invested in me by the merry old land of Oz. And if you understood that, good, because I sure didn't. And I want every single person in this thread to submit questions. Make rev work for the money we won't pay him.
