Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves- Confucious
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people don't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Mariane Williamson If men are to be precluded from offering their sentiments on a matter which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences that can invite the consideration of mankind, reason is of no use to us; the freedom of speech may be taken away, and dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. |

I wouldn't mind reading some spoilers from MF, but I'm more interested in the supposed blurb previewing FOTJ Outcast in the back of the novel and
whether it gives some interesting details or not.

I think Nom or Acky should lock this thread until the 21st when this book officially comes out, so everyone can just cool their jets.

I completely agree. I was horrified when I read the latest posts this afternoon. Some members are acting more petty than my nine year old sister. Quite
frankly, it's pathetic and insulting to the people who actually want to have an intellectual conversation about MF. *rant over*

Motion fourthed.
Come on, people, can we just calm down and speculate about MF? I mean, if FB wants to reveal spoilers, then more power to him. If he doesn't, we can still speculate. This thread isn't ruined just because the one person who has the book won't post spoilers. If he wants to, he can. If he doesn't want to, that's fine too. Anakin Solo=BEST SW CHARACTER EVER

Ok, lets get some speculation going. What are the odds that we might see Leia teaching Allana aboard the Falcon in a scene reminiscent of Obi-Wan training
Luke in A New Hope? I think this has the potential to be one of the coolest scenes ever written.

Now that would be cool. Blast shield down and drone shooting practice bolts at Allana.

I'm going with a very, very strong possibility for that very scene to play out. But I think Han will feel very differently about the Force now rather than
how he did then

Yeah, I don't think we will be hearing anything about hokey religions. It will be sad though if this scene does play out. There will be no Chewie in the background playing dejarik with 3PO.

My bad, 3PO was talking about Chewbacca complaining about being beat by a droid (R2). Got them mixed up. I need to go watch ANH for a refresher.

You know, maybe it's this scene specifically that made Sue want to re-watch ANH.

We're watching ANH in my English class next week. I'll have to remember to pay attention for that scene.

Let me guess, your watching SW in English class so you can write a paper about how mythology is mirrored in the SW movies. I remember having to do that
assignment.

No, it's character archetypes. Somehow it ties in with The Once and Future King. Your guess as to how is as good as mine. And we don't have to write a
paper.
