I have a feeling that Cade will become what Jacen was never allowed to by DR. Just a hunch

From what I have seen so far, his healing/breaking ability is kind of like shatterpoint.

From what I've read, Shado's character is actually getting interesting.

This just keeps getting good. Thanks for posting this here corax! You have made my morning
I also like how they are giving shado a more asseritive personality instead of just being there to fill up page space. I love that this story touched upon the force being used as a tool. Something that anakin solo started and then somewhat carried on in a sense by jacen. It is another subtle ode to the past IMO and one that fits. This line of thought was never fully explored and I am glad they are using cade to push it along. That and while his actions are bordering dark, he is still his own person. Cliche is not really in this skywalkers genes at the moment. I am also extremely interested of who the one IK was that "walked away." These guys are by far one of the more interesting groups of the era. I don't think it was zekk...I am one of the people that believes that the philosophical schism between the jedi and IK happens a generation after the first emporer fel, going on my theory that jag is the first and married to Jaina. This also shows sia more than just another padme or leia. She also has an edge to her which just makes her a cocky little princess you wanna either love or hate. The bit with Syn seems good from what I have read. Again, I thought John would have played that out a bit longer but it seems he is not letting the grass grow under him which is fine by me. I just wonder what cade will think/do if/when he finds out about syn's "stunt". That is exactly what I think as well. Difference is cade never learned it but was born with the ability which is more in line with continuity IMO. Cannot wait to get my hands on this! One quick question: Did jan do the art for this? |

I don't think he'll even join them. He is the most traiditional Jedi we know. Daala Count- 20 and counting and Hapans Rule All!

Yeah Jan did the art for this issue. The guy who did the art for issues 20-22 is doing 27 and then Jan's back for Vector.

If it is indeed shatterpoint (or similar technique), then it has no relationship with the dark side. Part of Mace's inner darkness was due to Vaapad
instead of shatterpoint. And as we all know Luke and Jaina both mastered shatterpoint now.
So I am interested about how did they justify this "dark alignment" about Cade's ability. The point seems to be about bending the Force to serve Cade's will instead of following the will of the Force. If that is so, I wonder whether "identifying the problem/weakness" (i.e. shatterpoint) is separated from "fixing/breaking that problem/weakness" (i.e. healing/bringing people back from death or use it for attack) Anyway I have not really read through corax's spoilers as I wanna keep (at least part of) the surprise for my own comic reading. Cade's ability is considered dark side because he imposes his own will over the will of the force. So technically Wolf, Sia, Syn, and Blue should all be
dead.
Sadly I didn't get the issue today EDIT: Let me change what I said first. I don't think Cade's healing ability is of the dark side it's the way he uses it

Okay this is what John said about the Jedi on the cover of the issue over at TFn:
They were going to be. Originally they were going to join Cade on the kill Krayt mission. Then sanity prevailed as we realized we had just too many characters so we took them out. The cover was already done. (They get done in advance of the actual issue for promotional purposes.) Every once in a while, that will happen but we try to keep it to a minimum. -- John So those Jedi were originally going to go on the mission to kill Krayt. The plot thickens... And the droid who opened up the Mynock for the IKs was Artoo. Now why would Artoo open the doors for the IKs unless they're family? Again the plot thickens.... |

This is one of the many reasons I love Ostrander. He keeps characters involved but doesn't clutter the story.

Haven't seen Threepio yet, and from what DH has said he won't appear until he's important to the story.

I don't think they'll wait that long, at least I hope they don't, but I could definately see something like that for the 50th issue!

To the comments about Cade's healing ability- it seems to be an extension of Shatterpoint: something that only a Skywalker relative could ever do. It
requires some degree of healing talent (rare enough, maybe 10%), some degree of dark side tendencies (uh... 50%), and the ability to see shatterpoints
(let's just go high and say .01%). All in all, it's an ability that maybe as many as 1 in two hundred thousand could manifest... but probably less.

I don't think they'll wait that long, at least I hope they don't, but I could definately see something like that for the 50th issue!I don't think we'll see any Solos for at least until Jaina ends up with Jag or someone else. And though I personally wouldn't care, they also might not include Allana's descendants because by the way the Solo children have been dropping like flies, who knows how long Allana will last for. I mean, the girl's only 4 and she already died once. Daala Count- 20 and counting and Hapans Rule All!
