Was it sealed when there were no Solos in Legacy? Certainly a male Solo in Legacy would have either saved Jacen's life in LotF or given him another child.
I think this is a really interesting point - kind of a 'which came first' thing. Legacy didn't have a Solo - but is that because they chose to not
have a Solo to keep out of DR's way in terms of their planned LotF arc - keeping in mind that they could always introduce one later - or did they drive DR
to eliminate the Solo line by not having a Solo in Legacy. Personally, I suspect the first choice (they could always introduce one later).
Another thing you got me thinking about is - if the plan all along was for Allana to wind up with Han and Leia - why not make Jacen's child a boy? I know
this will only feed into Rogue's conspiracy theory concerning the Solos - but I will say that considering the Hapan feelings towards males - would they
have given a damn if Tenel Ka's boy child was no longer considered 'heir' to the throne. Wasn't that half the problem with Isolder in the first
place? By giving up Jacen's child, Tenel Ka would then free herself to marry and have a daughter/heir with some other politicially advantageous pairing -
while still maintaining the Solo line through a son.
I suppose it's possible that Allana might still one day be the ruler of the Hapans - thereby securing in place a 'history' for the Solo family
(along with possibily the Fel dynasty) - but considering her current position as 'dead' and under the care of her grandparents, it doesn't seem to
likely right now that she'll one day come back to rule the Hapans.
