how far we have diverted from the original thread...How do you get on topic in a thread designed to let people know you'll be taking a break. Technically the only thing in the thread should be "taking a break. Back on the ninth" or something like that. But you're no James McAvoyI wish I had his money anyway.

figure if I brought a poster of him instead (and Uliah brought along Ewan's picture) it would be a nice poor substitute for the real thing..
How do you get on topic in a thread designed to let people know you'll be taking a break. Technically the only thing in the thread should be "taking a break. Back on the ninth" or something like that. Well, to add to this, technically we are on topic because we are discussing, among other things, our all important NJOE camping trip. So that constitutes as an internet hiatus. Granted, it is in the future but we hvae to talk about this somewhere. And just think, if we had not talked about it here, a few others (including myself) would still be going through life spelling marshmallows wrong. Now, I know better and my life is complete. |

xwg, I finally know where this camping trip should go.Kevin my friend...I think this is the best idea I have heard in a long time. I would invite you to come to the sleepover seeing as how it was your idea, but I think avoiding an awkward... situation would be in everyone's best interest. Besides, I would have to consult with Uliah on this as well. You know us females- have to do everything in pairs

Now there's a sight for the imagination. Rev. Moose hunting. And showing up with a moose on a leash at the apartment of ..... Oh, I'm dying here!! 
. . . I go down with the flu for a few days and you've turned the camping trip into a sleepover? Without Moose? OR marshmallows?!? XWG, I thought you'd come over to the light? 
And here I was, in my moments of clarity, trying to figure out whether we were headed for Norway or Newfoundland on this camping trip of ours .... <sigh> And I was so close, too.

You know what kills me about this thread more than anything is that Iurus can start a thread about being tired and needing a few days off and the thread is on
the top of the list for six months, stretches on for sixteen pages and has three hundred posts in it. I can wrack my brain trying to come up with some
fascinating topic of discussion for weeks, start a post called "Why is Star Wars Cool" or something similarly vague and it'll run out it's
life span in a week.
This why I don't write fan fiction. I could write a six hundred page novel and if Max clears his throat in another thread everyone would bail to discuss the viscosity of the phlegm. Back on topic enough for you ASII?

You forgot the following items from the kit list. Portable generator, widescreen television, satellite dish, remote, spare batteries, recliner with dual zone heating and massage unit, california king size fully motionless water bed, electric razor, portable hot water heater, portable potty, bathroom tissue with picture of fluffy white clouds and/or angels and or/ cotton balls on the label, hand grenades for fishing and the aforementioned automatic weapons in case of bears. I also require bug nets, bug spray, bug repellant, bug retardant, but-be-gone and any other device that makes my campground less attractive to bugs be it nuclear, biological or chemical in nature. Oh....and marshmallows.
