Freddie vs. Jason was...stupid, in my opinion. There was no point to the movie, and it was just pointless blood and gore. And Freddie is a little pervert.

Scariest pervert you're likely to find in a movie- especially with the alternate ending.
And in response to "pointless"- it matches eight other members of the Friday series and most of the Nightmare movies too, in that.

Okay, so a movie that I just learned a little more about that is coming out next year that will bump one of the lower ones off my list and be replaced is
Nottingham in which Ridley Scott reimagines the tale of Robin Hood and in which Russell Crowe plays the Sherriff of
Nottingham and is indeed portrayed as the protagonist to Christian Bale's (? - this bit not confirmed as yet) anarchy-inspiring
Robin Hood. The lovely Sienna Miller will be Maid Marion.
How f**king awesome will this film be? Unimagineably awesome, that's how awesome it will be. |

Ehh, Ridley Scott is hit-or-miss with me. The all-star cast is a plus, but then again... it's Robin Hood. I feel like I can only watch that story so many
times, you know?

And ZOMG, you don't share the all-consuming Ridley Scott love. I'm sorry, Boba, I cannot respect this! The only reason I still like you right now is because you're very witty and quite intelligent. But apart from that, I'm pouting at you like nobody's business right now. I also have my arms crossed and aimed in your direction. Feel my insipid glare aimed at you and you alone. I too am slightly indifferent to Robin Hood as a story now (though I still highly enjoy most aspects of Prince of Thieves - even Kevin Costner), but this is Ridley Scott, Russell Crowe and Sienna Miller. And hopefully Christian Bale. Any indifference I have towards Robin Hood is instantly forgotten when I attach THOSE names to this story. |

Boba.... I found I completely agree with you! However, the sheer badassery of the Ridley films I love outweighs the craptacular-ness of the ones I don't,
so that alone will waive any qualms I may have. Plus, it is CHRISTIAN BALE, SIENNA MILLER and RUSSELL CROWE. I remain floored by this awesome talent.

You know what would be supremely awesome? If they bagged Gary Oldman to play Guy of Gisbourne. I'd wet my pants, and I don't care if he is too old for how they traditionally have the role set at. |

An update for the ole hype-ometer.
10. Toy Story (3D) Still got nothing better to fill the 10 spot. 9. G.I. Joe Hopefully a trailer or teaser or something will show up at comic con. I really want to see that's up with this. 8. UP One of the few Pixar movies to not be previewed with the currently released one. It's got my curiousity up. 7. Avatar Too far off to say anything conclusive. I think the fate of the whole 3d trend lies in this film's hands. 6. Angels and Demons I just wanna see it. 5. Transformers 2 Dude, if the reports are right and Arcee is in it, I'm there. 4. Star Trek JUST SHOW US SOMETHING ALREADY!!! 3. Wolverine With behind the scenes photo leaks revealing a whole other level of Wolvie's origin that I wans't expecting, and the fact that Keamy from Lost is playing the evil immovable object, the Blob, I'm as hyped as ever to see this film. 2. Terminator Salvation I cannot begin to say how much I liked the new trailer. Unlike the trailer for T3, I didn't cringe once. I actually felt giddy. It looks like T2 might have a worthy sequel after all. 1. Watchmen Uhm, holy crap. Just watched the trailer in HD. *drools*

I have to add that a movie I had zero interest in, and now I can't wait for it, is Watchment. Zach Snyder talked about it and the guy seems to know what
he is doing and realizes the task he has at creating this kind of movie.

G-Force (hell yeah! Battle of the Planets!) Just a small warning, Kirr. Don't go into Jerry Bruckheimer's "G-Force". It's going to be a lame animals as superheroes movie. Not at all the BOTP movie. The REAL BOTP movie will be called Gatchaman.

little differently (take for instance the current Robin Hood TV show being shown on BBC America - I enjoy the heck out of that show).
