Posts: 1602 06/26/08 9:26 AM	I reread the preview and I am gonna bet that Azlyn will go back to the Jedi or have a moment where she helps the Jedi and it conflicts with her IK duties. I have to say I wouldn't mind this. It would be interesting to see just how Roan and/or Sia deal with that kind of "betrayal"...we know what Fel does to military and civilians who are not loyal but there has been no example of what happens when an IK goes astray.

Posts: 1628 07/02/08 11:25 AM	Well if we follow any patterns from DR it is that they dont use the YJK (and if they do they are usually crazy or die)..sooo, on that note I would love for Lowie to show up. Granted if DR does decide to use Lowie than he is better suited in the Legacy novels era IMO.

Posts: 1652 07/03/08 2:51 PM	You know, as much as I love ostrander I think that is a lame idea. The status should have been resolved in Invincible. Of course if that is true, Ostrander would probably write superb dialogue to throw that tidbit in but the fact that he would have to speaks volumes.

Posts: 285 07/03/08 3:42 PM	While I agree that it should have been handled in Invincible there may have been more going on then we were lead to believe. The fact alone that Ostrander and Denning were collaborating leads me to believe that a lot of what transpired behind the scenes might be resolved somehow in Legacy. Denning wanted to write his book the way he did but alot was left unsaid. So from their collaboration Denning got to lay the ground work for what would eventually become the Fel Empire and Ostrander gets to answer the question of Jacen/Caedus' redemption.

Posts: 1657 07/03/08 5:58 PM	True. But look at the backlash at waht denning gave us. Ostrander knows his fan base (unlike DR) but it is possible there were conflicts in how to tell the story and one group hindered the other.

What I think happened is that Denning had 'his' story to tell; and that's what he told 'his' story not what the fans wanted but what he wanted. But at the same time since he was collaborating with John maybe they came up with this idea between the two of them. I would have rather seen LotF handled by Dark Horse anyway as you said they care about the fans. Case in point the aftermath of Coruscant from the NJO the orbit of the planet was changed, a rainbow ring was created those little things show up in Legacy but not LotF. When Cade plots in the coordinates to Coruscant it's not 000 anymore and he points that out to Artoo. Could that be a jab at DR? IDK but I like to think so. The only logical DR character that can show up, aside from spirit Luke, is dead Jacen. But I'm already tired of the fight of who potentailly hindered who, Dark Horse or DR? Neither one was hindered by either. Legacy has flourished from tight story-telling and continuity-minded writers, while DR's editors and authors suffered from a lack of cohesive plotlines and pointless directions from those at the top. Will the next series be better who knows. But I do know for fact that every month John and Jan are going to earn my $3.00 for their stories, and if that's where Jacen redemption gets covered at least I know that I the people writing the stories do care about fan reactions and concerns.
