You'd never want to put Daala on the cover, or at least not identifiable... she's supposed to be this huge surprise. Silhoutte woman in the shadows,
maybe.

I've been weighing that decision, and I've been thinking that if this were the real cover being revealed before the book came out, people wouldn't
realize it was her.
They'd see the eyepatch on her and assume she was a new character created to bridge the Imperial Remnant with the new, more woman friendly Empire in Legacy. |

Show part of Daala, so people won't recognize her face, but will see her eye, maybe with one or two visible hairs to hint at her identity.

this is what I'm calling the "aw screw it." version of my Revelation concept. I got frustrated with it and got so far beyond the point of
backtracking that I basically scapped the idea of making it look good.
the basic idea was to do a blood reddish starfield, with an almost ghostly blue translucent Daala, Jacen pretty much repeating his pose from the real cover but less funny looking, Pelleaon looking Pelleaon-ish, an attempt at a more Mon Calamari looking Niathal, and the obligatory ships in the background. |

Max, I'm a big fan of all your work, but this one is my favourite. Over and above all the others. I'm going to chime in with a "me too" on
Daala. How you have drawn her, framed her, positioned her ... it sets the tone. It's perfect.

I really like that Fury cover. So far I'd say that one was the best. Very nice layout and form, it has a definite focus that really works well for it. Good

I'd say either Fury or Revelation is the best. The Alema on Fury and the Daala/backdrop on Revelation was awesome.
