Requesting advice re: YouTube downloader

Finally decided to get off my proverbial and download a version of YouTube downloader. However, I just wanted some advice regarding which version I should go for, given that there are literally dozens if not more. Was wondering if anyone else uses this program, and if so, if they can make recommendations. Just want it to save some videos and be able to have them stored on my computer. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
