I may not have a job or something but trust me most adults forget all the stuff work or otherwise that goes on at school.

Given that some of the casual/part-time staff we have at work still go to school, as do my younger cousins and given that at 23 I am not a fully-assimilated adult drone of banal boringness and have not completely vaporised my own school years from memory, I do not believe I am one of the adults to whom you refer.

It's ok though. Scrolling down through the fan fic forum I saw a few I missed. I guess I still have some reading to do. That's OK, I have enjoyed the stories so far tremendously. I do wish some of them would get finished off as they were an excellent read and just got clipped. It doesn't have to be a 38 page, 3 act masterpiece, filled with obscure references to bygone book series and wonderful visits with old friends, like some....

So would anyone else like MNA's story in Word format? Have we decided what to do? I sent out several emails and haven't heard back. I've read what was submitted an a lot that weren't. Can I at least talk about it? I've been withholding comment for some time now.

And most teens forget the amount of time they have to... well, do stuff like this. In terms of "otherwise", I implore you to remember that just because we hit 18, doesn't mean that we're dead- I have reason to believe that MNA might even have one of those "social life" things.

I wont boast to a ten hour workday but school takes 7 hours at my school plus two hours of homework not counting some nights studying for tests in Advanced Literature. I may not have a job or something but trust me most adults forget all the stuff work or otherwise that goes on at school.

well, Nom, when you think about, school (for the American children, myself included, and anyone else who goes to school/college) was about to start or had already started when this contest first started, cutting down a lot of time for anyone who's in this contest to work on their fanfic.

Nom, I took the liberty of copy/pasting your entry into a Word document so it has clearer page breaks and such and I can email it to any of the judges who still need to read it. I will email you seperately as I have a couple of questions to put to you as well. I'm done for tonight though troupe. Nighty night.

Meh....

Look if mine truly is the only completed one here, then I guess we'd better extend the deadline. Sure, I may feel a little stung that I completed mine on time and... nobody else did... but it isn't really a competition if I'm the only one done, now is it?

By the way, I feared this might happen so went ahead and ordered myself a copy of MF anyway.

Okay, but I'll warn you; I haven't done any reading yet. I clicked through to Nom's once while he was in the process of writing it and got scared. I'll see how things pan out and I'll definitely try and fulfull my judging duties, but depending on how things go, I may have to resign.

The Prize: A pre-ordered copy of Millenium Falcon- hopefully from a site that delivers on time.
The Rules:
Between the end of the Invincible spoiler ban and the release of Millenium Falcon, post a fan fiction on NJOE. It must start at some point shortly before the ending to Invincible, and cover at least three ambiguities and/or plot-holes from Legacy of the Force. Over 1000 words; no MF spoilers. If there is enough interest, perhaps a <1000 word category will be added....
