Last night was the signing, great time! Great turn out..about 80 people were there for the signing. Denning read a few pages, did some Q & A and the signed books. About a dozen of us escorted him in and then took him out for dinner after. He is VERY down to earth nd nice to chat with (not much book talk at dinner...just general life talk). The funny thing is he live less then 1/2 and hour from me

Just a reminder that I should be attending the Carmel, IN event; this Thursday.

I'll make sure to take some pics from my cell phone and try to have them posted here.

I don't plan on being there for the whole thing. Probably about an hour, at the most. I'll be getting off of work and driving straight to the event.

(I heard there's gonna be Stormtroopers.........)

You're going about it all the wrong way, Rev. I keep telling you .. invent yourself a business trip! There are conferences going on all the time just about anywhere, about anything. Find one that's remotely relevant and Voila! It's not a vacation; it's career development and networking! How can management fault you for that?

I have a good friend who lives in Roslyn. It's like twenty minutes to half an hour up Northern Blvd. to Huntington. Also, I am going to visit said friend the first week of June for a few days. Hmm.....I wonder how quickly I could get the world to agree to letting me go on vacation three weeks early. Probably not going to happen.

omg this sucks. I live on the Indiana side of the Ohio river near Louisville, Ky. Only 2-3 hours from Carmel...ARRGGGGGGGH...but its a freaking school night. Ill have to beg my parents to drive me.

I'm in the midwest, but Minnesota is a bit of a drive from Kansas. Like two days more or less. And I don't know anyone there. And the price of gas is outrageous. And I have no place to park my son while I'm gone. You get the picture. Donations, anyone?

Okay, this is also something I would consider doing self-demeaning things to obtain. And no, the members of NJOE are NOT allowed to tell me what these self-demeaning things will be. Troy Denning is one of the few people I would fall over myself for to get an autograph.

Denning is from Minnesota...so we have him here on release day We'll be costuming to escort him into the signing and then we are taking him to dinner after the signing Should be a fun time!! I don't think anyone at NJOE lives in the twin cities area, but if you do let me know

Forumer Iron Fist reports in with news of a Troy Denning book signing for Invincible on Thursday, May 15 from 6-9pm in Carmel, Indiana.

Here are the details:

Troy Denning will be at the Barnes and Noble in Carmel, IN for the signing of his book, the last in the Star Wars- Legacy of the Force series. There will be Stormtroopers, free minis and comics and maybe even a costume contest for kids. If you're in the area, check it out!
