Is it worth reading the "Young Readers" Star Wars Books?

I rarely post on these boards but I love reading everyone's opinions and check njoe multiple times a week. I was curious if anyone has read the Young Readers star wars books and would suggest I read them. I have read all starwars books(I think) except The Republic Commando series and the Young Readers.

Forgive me, I haven't posted much here and I'm unsure which forum to put this in, but this seemed right.

Anyway, after reading Invincible (I will not give spoilers) I was thinking who would be the next grandmaster, or if they will abolish the position. As some were saying (and I agree) Luke has been acting a little strangely in the last two books of LotF. Could this be an accident/author (mis)interpretation, or could it be something more?

So I played Jedi Outcast a few years ago, but never looked back into Kyle's earlier adventures until recently, when I was able to...erm..."acquire" Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, and Mysteries of the Sith. I went ahead and installed all three (plus reinstalling Outcast for completionism), but resolved to play them in order--a tall order, after trying out the demo of MotS a few months ago and seeing how fun it is.

Now, I'm sure we all remember I, Jedi and its uniqueness among SW novels as the only one in 1st person POV. Personally, I found it enjoyable, though I wasn't sure if it was the POV or the story, or the look into Corran's thoughts.

So, do you all think they should do another novel in 1st person POV?

I think that would be cool, so long as they did it right, so I would support it. It would actually be funny if the main character was Valin or Jysella Horn.
