The other day on a political show i dont remember which but someone said that Israel wants to move on Iran because of their nuclear power, plus the shadow war they have been launching against us (sending fighters into Iraq harboring terrorists etc) the problem is that they dont want to wait for a new president to go in. But if George Busch sent our Army into Iran without congresses approval which he wouldnt get he would be vilified and impeached

Hi guys. Recently, I got a history project from school about Ministerial pay in Singapore. While working on this project, I've come up with some interesting figures regarding the pay of the high-ranking civil servants in Singapore.

So, where do you people come into this? Simple. While working on this project, I hit upon the idea of asking people from other countries to comment and compare these salaries to civil servants in their country, or perhaps their own pay. So...yeah,...

This is something that's really been rubbing me the wrong way for the last couple of months... People who won't stop complaining about things as if they don't have a choice to experience them, when they do have a choice.

Why spend so much time or money to read or watch something you apparently dislike, AND then spend more time and energy to keep criticizing it when you could be off doing something you actually like and talk about it with enthusiasm?

Just curious what people's impressions of Scientology are here. I find it outrageously funny, what with Tom Cruise spouting anti-psychiatric rhetoric, as well as episodes of South Park that bring the "religion" to light. Although it's a little creepy, since 11 of its members were once arrested for trying to infiltrate the FBI and dig up some information a few decades back. That remains the single largest infiltration of the US Government in our history.
