The Wish List: Sequels and Alternative Versions You Wish You Could See

The premise is this: You can wish any sequel or alternative version of a film into existence.
For the sequels, your wish means that the film is just as or better than the original(s) and that the actors are all still alive and healthy and willing.
For alternative versions... the sky is the limit. pick your own cast or director, just as long as it's a different version of an existing movie.
In either case, you can make up your own storyline if you want to.

Got to chime in and say this was a great movie. Fans of the old show will love it, and people who have never heard of the old show (such as my wife) still enjoy how freaking funny Stephen Carell is lol

I've long maintained that the first Hulk movie was a travesty of a film. It followed the source material poorly, and Ang Lee simply tried too hard to bring some artsy choices into the film and it didn't know what it wanted to be. I went into that movie so excited, and there were parts that I tried to take away and enjoy, but the Hulk didn't smash.

Ok, like the other thread, but with next year's movies.

10. Toy Story 3D
Note: This isn't the third movie. Rather, it's the first movie being released in 3D as a lead up to the third movie coming out in 2010. I still can't beleive it'll have been 14 years since this came out in it's original form...

9. Terminator Salvation
Gotta admit they have me curious. Christian Bale playing John Connor? And the entire movie takes place in the future?...

Well, not a lot of spoilers from me, because I hate starting these threads. I'd never survive as a newspaper reviewer.

That was a fun ride.

I hope to go again to see whether some of the dragging I felt was due to the movie or the lateness in the time.

Great humor, great visuals, *great* MacGuffin... I'd just watched a Sci-Fi channel documentary on the skulls and everything tied...

Iron Man

Just got back from seeing Iron Man on opening night.

I'm a Marvel kid. X-Men and Fantastic Four are my all time faves, but I enjoy pretty much everything Marvel (some exceptions apply; not a big fan of Spidey). I'm not a huge Iron Man fan, but I love playing him in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I remember watching the cartoon series as a kid... I forgot a lot of details, but they started coming back the farther I got into the movie.

is any one else on these forums into anime or manga? i spend on average two hours a week reading/watching them and i'm in a afterschool club based (losely) on anime. my current favorite series are Bleach, Dragon Knights and, well, i'm not sure of the third.

Wow.

The camera shakes were really annoying at first... but by the time the monster hit, I was adjusted.

This film moves... there's never a dull moment... When they were getting on the helicopter at the end I'm like "wait... this can't be over... it's only been like.... ... like a lot longer than it feels like"
