I don't know if this is the right place to put this topic here but I'm trying to get everyone's attention or interest if Tim Zahn should do a Post-LOTF hardcover novel featuring Ben Skywalker as the lead and the Big Three,Jaina and Allna in supporting roles having an adventure in the Unknown Regions set after James Luceno's Millennium Faclon hardcover. Perhaps Luke and Ben have an adventure in the UR and Han,Leia,Allana and Jaina come along for the ride as well as they all...

We've all seen our favorite heros and most hated enemies take a final bow and leave the EU. I personally almost cried when Thrawn died. Last night I finished Tratior (I am not a Stover fan...I hated Shatterpoint and did not care much for ROTS). But I must say he hit a homerun with this book

To be honest I haven't been at this site in a long time, probably since I finished reading Invincible, and now that I'm back and I've glanced at a few of the of the new topics that have sprung up, most notably Mr Nom Anor's review/essay on his crush on Jacen Solo being dead, thoughts of how disappointed I was in the 9th book have come back. i know that all of you who have the US version of invincible have been going on about the preview of millenium falcon at the back. i was looking forward to that when i got my copy of invincible but when i got to the end to my surprise and horror there is not advert/preview as a british fan i feel a bit cheated by that and im putting it out there and asking if this is actually true for the british books or just my copy and rections from every1 in general that yet again de; rey seem to nelect...

In my opinion, this was Denning's best Star Wars novel to date, a fantastic ending to an overall great series. Sure it has the same problems/weaknesses as the series in general and Denning in particular has shown in the past, but it's more than made up for by how good it is.

I've seen quite a few opinions expressed about Invincible, some of them quite forceful, most disappointed, but a few pleased. Up to now, I really didn't want to express my opinion because 1) I hadn't read the book yet 2) There were other, more prominent people posting opinions, and I wanted to wait to see whether any would match mine 3) I am a huge Jacen fan, and that could taint my point of view.

So I find myself having finished Invincible and feeling like crap. Not because I'm feeling sick or anything, but because this book made me feel like crap. I feel like this book not only robbed me of all of my hopes and expectations for this series, and perhaps more importantly, its climax, but that it also took a sharp left hand turn regarding some of the thematic bedrocks that permeate the Star Wars universe.

I definitely called Caedus losing his arm. You cannot deny it.

Not quite a prediction, but I love how someone at some point said that Luke has mastered every Force skill except for the shatterpoint- and then he reveals that he knew it all along.

Basically, all of the people that I wanted to survive- Tahiri, Mirta, Boba- survived, which makes me happy.

And of course, the Fel Empire Mystery as well as the Jaina Triaina are solved.

This idea occured to me in a different thread & I want to throw it out here & see what the rest of you think. And also because I just want to take away something from LOTF that makes me feel better about the whole thing.

Sacrifice was a big part of this series & Jacen pondered over & over again the nature of his sacrifice. With the ending & Jaina's reflection that Jacen had succeeded in bringing about peace my thought was that Jacen became the sacrifice....

So now that Jacen is dead, his legacy will live on through his daughter Allana. What type of future do you guys see for her? It is setting up for her to be a major character now that Jacen is dead. I believe Jacen's name will live on through her, but she will choose a different path. I see her possibly being a strong political leader. It all depends on what the "vision" really means. I just hope they don't get the idea to kill off her mother. She is one of the select few...

I've recently become captivated with the idea of running commentary as people read things, so I thought I'd just provide my thoughts as I read Invincible.

Prologue: this is out of character for Denning... to write 1st person. At least for his Star Wars examples... maybe he's done this before? Is this during the Vong war?

No, must be YJK era? How literal of a pull is this from the YJK books? Not direct reprinting, I assume, but does it re-enact some...

I know i'm probably one of the more paranoid fans here and my mind skips to the craziest conclusions...but please tell me the that Zekk wasn't somehow rescued/snatched/stolen by some of the Sith that we caught a glimpse of in the earlier novels. I HATE how that was wrapped up, because I seriously doubt he's been written off and if he comes back as a darksider again or as part of some weird convoluted plot my head might do something I saw once in "Scanners".
